It wasn't the flight that interested us so much as it was the sledding on the glacier. To my knowledge helicopter is the only way to get on the glacier.

 

I saw that Butchart is the most popular thing in Victoria but since we are there at night I didn't think it would be worth it.

Butchart Gardens is very well lit and absolutely breathtaking at night. It had rained the evening that I was there, and my pictures were some of the best I've ever taken!! Don't let the time of day stop you.

If you drive into Canada from any point in Alaska, you will need your passport.

We're going to be in Alaska in August of this year. Second trip, can't wait!!

Oh Lord, Key Lime Pie AND Chocolate - that sounds like HEAVEN to me!!

Haven't been to Key West since our Nov 1999 Veendam cruise; we ended up in Key West because Hurricane Lenny made us divert from our original itinerary.

It's a fun place to forget all your cares and just BE!!!

Who can eat after being on a ship for a week!!:p
