We used Real Deal Roatan Tours earlier this year and HIGHLY recommend them. They have a Facebook page and a website, are very responsive, prompt, friendly and we felt very safe all day.

I found Real Deal Roatan online and sent an email inquiring about availability for a group size of 7. Johan (CEO) immediately responded and we corresponded to get our date and time secured.
I received an email with a map showing where we needed to meet, he was exactly where he said he was going to be and we promptly made our way to the air conditioned van. Johan introduced us to our driver/escort for the day, Stan and we started our adventure.
Highest point in Roatan for pictures and a little shopping with locals who weren’t too pushy. We all found something to take home with us at good prices.
Children’s Home for a video and tour with the man who runs the establishment. We brought 5 backpacks filled with school supplies and hygiene items. Loved seeing the kids smiling faces. The entire place was bright, open and airy. What a great organization!
The sloth and monkey park was very clean and a great opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals.
Chocolate factory tour then onto a visit at a Rum factory before our final destination at the beach for a lunch.
Stan made sure to stop at the Roatan sign on our way back and got some great pictures of us.
At the beach and restaurant, a few more details would have been helpful. We weren’t sure what was or wasn’t included and didn’t know how long we would be there and didn’t bring suits to enjoy the beautiful beach and water. But we made the best of it and walked along the beach. There were 2 ladies offering massages, which a few in our group were able to take part in.
An overall excellent day and if we ever make it to Roatan again, we’ll definitely take another tour with Real Deal Roatan Tours!!!!

Monica - which $10 text plan?

I also do ALL the research, booking and spending with NCL. They sent my husband a hand written Christmas card thanking him for being a great customer. Nice!

Is the crepe station set up at night on Getaway?
Our last cruise on the Gem only offered them during the dinner hours in the buffet.
We love going later in the evening to enjoy a crepe and ice cream.

I just received an email and they only allow prepackaged, non-perishable snacks to be brought on board. Definitely get a hold of them to have it noted. They have you fill out a form for each passenger affected and want you to meet with the Restaurant Manager upon embarkation.

Thanks for the great review, I'm going to check into him for our February sailing.

How do you know which pier you'll be docked at? We are in Cozumel on NCL Getaway on March 1st, 2019. Nine ships in port!!

Do we have to wait in line to book speciality restaurants once we get our vouchers? I thought it said a concierge was provided for reservations. Anyone know how that works? Thanks!!

I would like to purchase my own insurance, are you willing to share who you purchase through?
Can you take cameras in with the monkeys?

We held the monkeys and the birds, no problems at all. They were picking at the top of a baseball cap but no other worries. We had a camera inside the cages with us and got some great pictures. Like this one of me when the monkey hopped on my shoulder from behind, I was only planning to take the pictures so was a bit surprised. They monkeys were so much fun. Enjoy!
