Aggie83-I agree! Actually, $29pp is not bad at all for round trip/no hassle, so I may do the same! I went ahead and booked EZ Air to/from Miami as you suggested. SO Much better!! Thanks again, don’t know why that hadn’t occurred to me to check!

Aggie 83: Your Miami EZ Air suggestion is “on point”! There are non-stop flights at better times, better pricing. We haven’t tried that before since FLL is so close to port. How do you usually travel from MIA to Port Everglades and back? (Shuttle, Uber...?)

Thank you all for your input. We’re booking a later flight. I don’t want to “undo” the effects of a relaxing cruise by stressing out over a flight to get home. Just a momentary temptation😉

Potstech:   Do you think they would allow us to use EZ Check for a flight that early?  I assumed the Princess EZAir 10:00 am cut-off would be the earliest they would allow.  If they did allow us to use EZ Check, I'd book that early flight in a heartbeat!! I may call Princess and check.....

EZ Air flights for this cruise are terrible from our home airport (both connections & price). I usually try to use EZ Air, but it doesn't look like we will this time.

Thanks! That is pretty much what I was thinking, but since the airport is so close, and we're usually off the ship so early, I was tempted to try.  It would be the one time we were stuck in line forever 😞 

We are booked on the Princess Regal 2/16-2/23 and I'm considering a 9:35 a.m. return flight home (domestic).  I know Princess recommends 10:00 a.m. as their cut-off for EZAir, but if we walked off with luggage, would this too risky? 

So sorry for your stressful day and for your relative's illness. I hope all turns out well. We have been the recipients of an emergency call to return home and were on a sea day at the time of the call. A message was left on our room phone. We were on a Carnival ship and they could not have been kinder to help arrange flights, requiring several connections. The pursers desk allowed us to use the ship's phone, and even made some of the calls for us. I have never felt further from home, but we were moved by the compassion and assistance shown by the ship's staff.

Thanks so much for your help! We've done this itinerary on Carnival, but you've answered several questions in your review that will be helpful with Princess. Glad you had a good trip!
