I was booked on the Sept 8 cruise round trip to Quebec. (I received an email yesterday that that cruise was cancelled and turned into two one way cruises that repeat the itineraries. They offer to rebook on one of these or cancel completely. They also claim that they would pay air fare to or from Quebec. I called the special number and they said it was probably refundable AFTER the cruise was over. They were no help. I have until Jan 22 to make up my mind.

We are not snorklers either. I would get a golf cart but I'm sure they get 'gas' with a peddle. Something I can't do. I plan on taking one of the ship's bus excursions. Are there beaches near the port just to hang out in and not snorkle?

We will be arriving on the NCL Jade in November (a repositioning) I see that Hertz has a POM pickup and they take you to the main office. We would lie to return the car in Miami Beach. Does anyone now if this is feasible and is there an extra cost?

I just received an "upgrade" notice from an inside 1F to an inside 1D. I can't figure out the difference. Can anyone help?

We decided to stay at the Marriott Fishermans Wharf and take BART from the airport. Got a good rate through AAA and gives us a chance to walk around town the day prior and not be rushed getting to the pier.

I am cruising on the Star Princess on March 14. We live in NYC and decided that we should fly in on Friday instead of Saturday (day of cruise). We already have reservations for Princess shuttle bus from Airport on Saturday.

Question: Do we stay in a hotel near the terminal and pay a bit more (and how do you get there from the airport) or do we stay at a lower priced hotel near the airport with airport shuttle service and still meet the Princess bus at the airport on Saturday? Any suggestions for hotels in either location? We have toured SF in the past so sightseeing is not a major requirement. We also hear that the St Patrick's Day parade is March 14. Would that make a difference either way?
