Again, thanks for the input all. The cruise was kind of last minute, so she would not have enough turn around time to get a civilian passport. Just wanted to get to know her away from school, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Like the previous poster said, there is a 5 card bonus, but I don't remember all the odds there.

I do know that 3 of a kind was 5:1, Full House was 25:1, and straight flush was 1000:, but those are the only 3 I rememb

Yes, Conquest has a full hair salon. The Carnival website doesn't list the salon in the on line appointment section. Just go to the spa when you board and they will have a list of all services.

I've been on cruises with service animals. There was actually a large group of visually impaired passengers traveling with their service dogs. And I see several service animals aboard flights at work. No issues whatsoever, and you shouldn't feel worried about getting a few evil stares from passengers who don't understand their reason for being there.

 

Well trained service animals are almost invisible in my experience. I wouldn't worry about what a handful of people may think. It's your right to bring them along.

You would never even notice a well trained service dog. My neighbors train black labs (just like Tapi's :)) for the hearing impaired. Amazing. They are just good old dogs until they put that "I am working" vest on and then it's all business.

My biggest fear is getting a great haircut onboard. Now that would be an expensive next appointment.

I had this happen! Best haircut ever and the stylist that did it was leaving to return to school so I couldn't even follow her around (another excuse to cruise). I have had cuts and color on several ships and have always been happy. The prices aren't bad at all. I usually have at least a $100 tab at home and that is just for touch up.

I have seen the little tiny cans of Coke at Walgreens in an 8 pack. Don't recall seeing regular size in a six pack though.

I did the Balmoral beach excursion through Carnival several times. Priced right and really enjoyed it. Atlantis was way overpriced and the vendors were relentless. Still, it is something to see. If you do decide to book your own to Atlantis, the traffic coming back to the dock can be insane. You don't want to be late so allow plenty of time to be back on board. Freeport - never even get off the ship. Just research on line and take advantage of the good info on the Ports of Call section. Have a wonderful time!

I am on a Conquest Premier in 13 days!!!! Whoo hoo! Can't wait.

Anyway, as LA said, lots of goodies. Don't miss the cocktail party, it's always great and you can meet the casino hosts. Good people to know!

Thanks for the review. We are on the Conquest on the December 12th, 2015 sailing and are looking forward to it. Your review answered the questions we had. Glad to see American Table is there. We loved it on the Breeze and the Glory earlier this year and fail to understand how all the complainers can make the claim that they could not find anything on it that they could eat. We also love the Alchemy Bar. Great place for pre-dinner cocktails. NOTE: we have also booked B2B cruises on the Glory on November 5th and 12th of 2016. Maybe we will see you on one of those two.

Like the idea of buying swimwear etc at the end of summer for winter cruises. We've been give a surprise Christmas present from my parents of QM2 NY Caribbean Christmas cruise so we didn't know we'd need stuff. But can't really complain

You probably received an email confirmation of payment also. Tickets will be in the cabin but I always print out my receipt /email and keep with my cruise docs, just in case.

Thanks for the help. So just to be sure I understand...I have a bunch of OBC and some gift cards on my account. I put my card in the machine and set up a pin. I can then transfer money to the players bank and cash that out. Is this correct?

Yep. Just hit the proper button and enter an amount to transfer. It will upload to your machine. To get your cash, go to the cage with your card and the cashier will give you your $$
