Hamasgirl. We are also on this cruise next November. We have already booked the overnight in Jerusalem and Luxor. Also the 3 night end of cruise tour in Dubai.
Looking forward to meeting you next November. There is a roll call open that you can join and speak to others on this cruise

I have another suggestion. Several years ago while traveling in Australia between Ayers Rock and Alice Springs my wallet was lost. We had to sit in the airport and cancel our Credit Cards and since we have several bills automatically deducted from the cards we had to call each company and tell them not to use the cards for auto payments We forgot 1 an EZPass for toll roads and it cost us $200 in fines. Since than we use just 1 card for everything that is automatically charged. Neither one of us carries that card, it remains in the safe.
Since that experience we each carry 2 cards but not the same ones so if 1 of us loses our cards we can cancel the lost cards and still have cards that can be used.
Hope this is helpful

Wes: As a first time Regent cruiser, I’ll be boarding in Papeete, I have really enjoyed all the pictures you have been posting of life onboard Mariner. Time will be going very slowly before we leave next Monday for Tahiti

Jim: Loved your pictures of the Penthouse Suite. I’m can’t wait to see our Penthouse Suite when we join you onboard November 15. Your Chocolate Martini looked wonderful and since that’s my favorite after dinner drink I’m looking forward to having one our first night onboard. 10 days until we leave for Papeete and 13 days until we board. I’m counting the days.

I lived in Tokyo some years ago for 4 years. Things may have changed some, but. Would have the concierge at the hotel write down where the port is and than give it to the cab driver. I believe the Hyatt has a doorman so let him verbally tel him the port and give him with the address written. I puke imagine you would be able to find someone at Narita airport to be able to do,the same for directions to,the hotel
Hope this helps

Briar14. I tried several screen names and they kept coming back saying it was taken, so I decided to use NishiAzabu figuring no one had it and it worked. I hope you enjoyed your 4 years in Tokyo as much as we did. Our twin sons graduated from ASIJ.

I should read for auto correct before posting. It should say we are looking forward to the cruise and we lived in Tokyo. Sorry for the mistakes

Thanks everyone. Because I’m short and wear petite length slacks my capris and crops are longer than most people wear because I have a hard time finally petite length clothes. I need to buy more slacks and capris for the summer I’ll look for the right length.
Poss we’re really lo King forward to the South Pacific cruise. We left bed in Tokyo for 4 years and have been to most of the countries in Asia we decide. That the islands would be a great way to celebrate our 50th Anniversary.

Thanks for all the replies. We will be cruising the South Pacific and I have a few pair of summer slacks and I’ll just go buy a couple more, I love to mix and match so I don’t have to pack as much.
Poss. I don’t know when you were here last but it is definitely more crowded. We bought here about 14 years ago and retired 5 years ago.

Thanks: that was my feeling as well. Guess I’ll just take advantage of the sales and get some slacks summer since I wear crops most of the summer down here.

I posted the above post and don’t know how I did it.
My question is, My Country Club allows crops with a nice to after 6pm, but no shorts or jeans. Does Regent have the same policy

cors with a nice top are allowed in our Country Club for dinner and I was wondering if they will be allowed in the dining room after.

Z: I liced your picture of the luggage. We’re taking our first Regent cruise in Nov to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. I showed my husband the picture of the prime rib and he wants to know if it’s available on all cruises the day you board.
I can’t wait to read all your post throughout your cruise

We’re taking our first Regent cruise in Nov so I’ve really enjoyed reading your post about your first cruise on Regent.
What a wonderful story about the woman taking her last cruise, it brought tears to my eyes. She sounds as if she was a lovely woman who is living her life to the fullest up to the end.

Travelcat2. Thanks for your response. I enjoyed your post from your recent trip. I’ve also enjoyed reading your post on several threads and learned a lot of what Regent cruises are like.

We’re taking our first Regent cruise in Nov. The Country fair looks like a lot of fun. Is the Country fair on all cruises or just select ones.

Thanks Travelcat2. I'm hoping a shower only suite openings up soon, but if one doesn't ion up before we sail we'll still enjoy the cruise in a suite with a bathtub.

Hi: I'm new to this board. We are booked on the Honolulu to Tahiti November 2018 cruise. We will be in Penthiuse 908. It has a bathtub but I've informed the agent that if a shower only becomes available I'd like to move. This will be our first cruise with Regent and we are really looking forward to this cruise.

Sodas are $3.00 each. If you think you'll drink more than 3 a day it's worth it.

I also have RA. I took 3 cruises of 12-14 days while on Embrel and Humira. I never had a problem with TSA. I used the ice packs that were used to ship the medicine. I’m get infusions now so I don’t have to worry any more about shipping my medicine. Hope this is helpful
