Hi! Curious have any adults applied for a vaccine exemption with a doctors notice like the website suggests, and it been approved? Did you apply and get denied? Simple question please be kind. Thanks!

Were going to be in 2404 on Vista in December.

The kids will love it! As far as Carnival being a party ship, it really depends on when you go. It can have a party atmosphere during spring break and its quite crowded during summer, but for your kids it will be fun. Just keeps tabs on them and have them check in often, use common sense and the buddy system and it will be no worries. Have fun!

Unfortunately no one here can predict this years hurricane season, it is mother nature. Sometimes we get hit a lot and others times not at all. Its a gamble. Although, typically prices are better this time of year. Here's the up side, if you go and a hurricane does come, the ship will re-route and go outside of harms way, so if you are open minded to that as a slight possibility and think you can live with it, then book and enjoy. Your going to have fun either way you just have to go into thinking if a hurricane does affect the trip your still on a ship and going somewhere.

the more expensive cruises we plan abut a year ahead and make payments so its not as much all at once, and watch for those price drops! Otherwise it is usually about 4 months ahead or so and we just pay it all at once. We only go once a year so we have to make it count!

Cruising in Alaska is amazing! It is not as lively as a carribean cruise, its definetly a older crowd, but the scenry is beautiful and there will still be a lot of activities on board.

The cribs arent full size thete mini we ended up not using ours as our so. Was to big. It had a regular sheet on it folded up and ticked under thr mattress. We ended up putting out son on the couch bed and rolling ip blankets so he wouldnt roll out.

When i was preggo and sailed in 2012 they had a great chicken w gravy n rice thats no longer in the menu. It was a godsend for my morning sickness lol

Im also on liberty nov 5th and agree we should board at regualr time even if we can debark till late

I hear you! We were looking forward to trying out the staggered check in times. Also we're looking forward to Progresso but hey what do you do it's still a vacation. And like you I'm hoping they just don't run into any more problems that make it worse fingers crossed they get it fixed and surprise us but I'm not holding my breath.

In truth we were kind of waiting for this to happen when we saw that they were having mechanical issues. We were on a sailing a few weeks after the triumph had a fire and got stuck out at sea and that Cruise got canceled so we had a feeling this may happen.

Actually my husband and i love progresso & its one of our faves lol. But we shall make the best of it...

We are looking forward to welcoming you next week and want to take this opportunity to provide you with some important information regarding our itinerary and embarkation plans for your upcoming sailing.

Carnival Liberty has experienced a technical issue which is only affecting the ship's maximum cruising speed. Repairs are underway however, based on our technical assessment, it will take some time to complete the work. Therefore, until the repairs have been completed, we have modified our arrival and departure times, as well as our scheduled itinerary.

The ship will be arriving late into port on November 5th and since we will be busy saying good bye to our guests from the previous cruise, check-in will take place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We will sail shortly after the safety briefing has been conducted. Unfortunately, we will be forced to cancel our call to Progreso. We know how much you were looking forward to this port and sincerely apologize for this change.

Below is our revised itinerary:

Just received an email that the November 5 sailing of Carnival liberty will have a late debarkation time from Galveston and we will be skipping our Progresso Porte due to mechanical issues with the carnival liberty not allowing get to reach full capacity speeds .

It appears they're down to one engine which is keeping them from being able to reach full speed that is why the October 31 sailing is being delayed in skipping Progresso as a port also it will now affect the number fifth sailing as the October 31 sailing isn't set to arrive back into Galveston until November 5 at 4 PM although the November 5 sailing has not received any official notification yet from Carnival. We are on the November 5 selling ourselves so we been following this closely on all the boards

When we sailed to Alaska they had crab legs as a appetizer that were cut so you didn't have to crack them, we had 3 plates lol

We used the one on triumph alot but we usually sail in the coolernoff season so the heat wasnt as much a issue

Does the breeze have a small playground area? I have a 2 yr old so she wont likely be able to play on the water areas. I saw a playground on Freedom and Triumph and was wondering if the breeze had one?

Great review so far! There just aren't enough recent reviews on the liberty out of Galveston for this itinerary. We're cruising in 60 days and can't wait

Ive cruised from Galveston about 7 times now. While sometimes does seem to take longer then others i think the season you are cruising in makes a difference. It is peak season so i would expect a bit more chaos. Although we have gone out of NOLA and Seattle and didn't think one was better then the other.

Formal night is typically your first full sea day.

Anyone else ever turn th couch around? My dayghters 10months and dont really want to use a portavrib takin up space
