Good to see you enjoyed your trip on the Vav. Have you started planning trip number 2 ?
Not yet... a bit more of the world to see. But if anyone would like to fund it... I would be up for it.:D

I had the absolute pleasure of going on a 22 day epic Antarctic Adventure with Oneocean expeditions on the Sergey Vavilov. It was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Wonderful ship, fabulous crew and staff. The food was so good. The talks about the area, the wildlife and the history were interesting and memorable. Loved every minute of this trip... would do it again in a heartbeat.
I hope you get to enjoy this part of the world. It is truly stunning. This trip was a round trip from the Falkland Islands. The Drake passage was very tame on both occasions.
We had glorious sunshine, blistering winds, snow and 24 hour sunshine.
I hope these photos are viewable.

Just dropping in for my 2 cents worth. We did back to back Antarctica trips with one ocean expeditions last Dec - Jan. The ship was Sergey Vavilov. 22 days of amazing scenery, unbelievable wildlife and exciting excursions. Getting off the ship twice a day was the best experience of my life. Camping overnight on the snow and getting up close and personal with penguins, seals and whales was unforgettable. I didn't want the trip to end. Small ships are the way to go. Got to know the crew and staff, and all of the other passengers were fabulous travelling companions. Antarctica is truly beautiful.

Stop considering and just book it. The trip was unforgettable. The Oneocean staff were fabulous. We really felt like friends rather than clients. This part of the world is truly unique and worth every dollar. Please contact me if you need any other info.
