  1. So I have a 3 day  Bahamas cruise booked  for the following amounts. If I cancel in the next 9 days, I lose $100 per person. But if I cancel in the 2 weeks after that, then I lose 50% of the fare...which is less than $100 per person.

    Guest 1 $235 fare + $81.53 port fees.

    Guest 2 $111 fare + $81.53 port fees

Cancel now and I lose $100 per person and get back $135+$11+$81.53+$81.53 = $309.06

Cancel in 10 days and get back $117.50+$55.50+$81.53+$81.53 = $336.06

Does this seem correct? Would I be better off waiting if I decide to cancel?

  2. I think you would still be able to do the excursion. I would describe my wife the same as you, not an athlete or strong swimmer. As an example she did a 5k yesterday in about 53 minutes, so she can walk 5k but barely jogged if at all. She was able to do everything at the baths. There's not really any swimming involved at all. You are at a beach so you decide how deep you would want to go. The trip from the baths to devils bay is the most difficult part. There was one point where we needed to crawl on all fours and another part where we had to do down a steep incline which led to a jump of probably 2-3 feet into ankle deep water. We didn't have water shoes so were trying to carry our sneakers and our kids sneakers and a backpack full of towels , etc which added a lot to the difficulty. I would recommend having both hands free as there are times where you will need to steady yourself and then the trip should be no problem

  3. Video poker is the same as electronic black jack. It is nothing more than a themed slot machine. The rules of poker have precious little to do with the odds of winning.

It is a law in Nevada that video representations of card games must be truly random. Thus the odds would be same as in live blackjack with the same rules. Most other jurisdictions more or less accept Nevada regulations. While I don't know 100% that the casinos at sea are abiding by this, I am pretty confident that it is the same.

  4. Got the offer as well. There was a misprint. The October sailing on the Liberty is out of Bayonne, NJ, not Ft. Lauderdale, FL, we were a little disappointed. Liberty is my favorite ship, but I'm not flying up north in October for a 5 day cruise when I live 1/2 hour away from Port Everglades.

The good part is we just booked the April cruise from the offer. Got a Central Park Balcony upgrade including cruise insurance, gratuities, port fees, taxes, etc for just under $500. We wanted an oceanview balcony, but there weren't any available. We are waitlisted for one.

The odd thing is my husband playslarger amounts in the casino than I do. He is also an avid golfer (Every Sunday) and I play once a year in a charity golf tournament. I got the last two offers and he didn't. I asked about this and they said marketing is choosing certain criteria, not necessarily biggest play. However he does rate high enough so that both of us can participate in the golf outing even though the offer is for one golfer. They said he would qualify for his own room.

I also got this offer but haven't received any other offers or emails, so I called to see if they had the correct email address for me. When I mentioned that I got the golf offer but was not a golfer they said I could switch to the other offer of Allure or Oasis before March 31. Booked a boardwalk balcony for 2 on Oasis March 14. for 390 after taxes and tips.
