  1. You do realise your stocks are being diluted   more and more shares.

Will never get back to 50.00  sith all the debt they are creating.   The 6 billion at 10.5 %    will let them survive probably,  if not your shares are zero.

  2. Seen it happen before, (should be loaded within a cage) but a cargo ship loaded with cargo net, they hit ship railing, Old rusty protective cover threads of worn cap came off, nicked the valve, Well the net spun around in circles until the cylinder was empty.

Very sad, my condolences to the family.

  3. Melia is very similar to Iberostar or Riu, Bleau, They all have many resorts there. They keep building more and more mega ones.

Melia also owns Trypp, and Paradisus. There is also a Sandals in Varadero.

We have been to Melia Caya Coco, and Paradisus Varadero Royal Service, Also owned by Melia. Nothing missing there, Private car to Airport, Golf cart shuttle on the grounds. Only thing was some items not available now and then as no Tomatoes for a day or so and strawberries are scarce, but will have some certain days. But the fresh fish was amazing. Beef so/so Brazilian or Argentina beef. Wines were great, Spanish, Argentine, Italian, French. They were not lacking many items, But more like a 4 star elsewhere I guess.

We loved it so much, will certainly return soon. In Varadero where we were some days lots of jellyfish and other days none. Depends on the winds or currents I guess.

The resorts are well developed, lots is imported by these mega chain hotels.

BUt Cuba does have some wonderful beer. Buckenero is quite good.

Its the regular folks that have trouble getting supplies in their home towns

Service was great, friendly, lots of activities. Had more fun there than in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, or Cancun. or dare I say a cruising, lol.

The horror stories of no hot water and bad food, are if you stay in 3 star resorts.

Which is the same in many other countries.

Many Brits, Italians, French, Canadians of course and Yeah Russian too, lol

  4. A little local secret,

One with a great nice relaxing atmosphere, is Aviatic club, and very nice food, always well prepared. (they pay attention to preparing the plate, and it is 99% of the time perfect) and wait staff very very nice, excellent service!!

check it out on trip advisor, or urban spoon - (reviews with pictures)

its in the old 100 year old train station but of course has been renovated since then. lol

Who would think to eat at a train station!! (but its a very clean and pretty place)

I have eaten many times at Laurie Raphael, Saint Amour,-(a bit stuffy there) ect and pretty well every other good restaurant in Quebec city.

yes they are good, usually!! but have also had some not too stellar meals also.

Aviatic club is pretty darn good ( since 20 years)

    If not for dinner

Even just pop in for lunch, they always have fresh fish delivered every day in the morning, and they put out the menu at 1030 am for lunch.

you can check on their website believe its, aviatic.ca next week you will see that at 1030 weekdays they will post the menu du jour (lunch up to 1400 hrs) link on their website.

Its one of my favorites in Quebec city, re quality, price & service & certainly atmosphere.

Note: the dinner menu will have prob changed by May, but some of the classics like Sea bass & steaks would still be on there.

and the amazing chocolate dessert Messerschmitt bf 109. if you like chocolate just have that. (quality chocolate it is)

    Cheers

  5. All sushi sold in USA was previously frozen to kill parasites. It is flash frozen when caught , Except only tuna can sometimes be sold fresh. It is against the law to sell it fresh in USA it has to have previously been frozen, (for sushi that is)

  6. Well I guess it comes down to just filling the ships,

I remember maybe a decade ago when service was top notch, and prices higher, they were not always full. like 800 pax on a 1200 pax ship, so better sell more for less, and hopefully make more up in onboard spending. also, yes, there are way more cabins to fill with all these bigger ships, so certainly prices have come down, but costs have gone up, provisions, fuel, pilotaage docking fee, tugs, wages and what not, so service and quality must suffer to make up for it.

Crystal, Silver are also in the same dilemma, Rates are down, and their service has also changed from what it once was.

  7. You're joking, right?

Apple is the Chevrolet of the computer world.

Low price, mass produced, one size fits all.

They try to give away the IPhone in Asia, but nobody will take them - even for free.

Dont agree with you, Apple Computers are quality built and more expensive,

Best thing is there Hardware matches the software, no painfull issues at all

Have you seen the prices in Asia, They are like 4 x the price there, and they all buy them here in USA or even Canada.

We have the lowest prices in the world on Playstations/ Computers, ect even though they are built over there.

Have both PC's and Macs Pcs are great too but need more maintenance like a chevy. lol

  8. in our case she didnt go in the water anywhere, (I did) so its kinda strange she had a more severe reaction than me, might be from hotel room in florida

we have no idea but it started 2 days into our cruise, she was on a beach but didnt swim, might of picked it up there on the beach, anyways nothing

to do it cleared up about 5 days later, didnt scrach or itch, probably something microscopic anyways
