The show was not entertaining. The singers (are should I say screamers) were terrible. They were screaming their words and it was difficult to understand what they were saying. The noise was incredibly loud . We walked out of the show as did others.  Some people think that just because you're on a cruise ship that the shows are terrific maybe some are this one was not.

Just got back from Barcelona. Stayed at the Mont Blanc hotel, just a two block walk to Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas and a five minute taxi to port.  Accomodations were good, location was excellent and the price was right. Been there before and would go back. Have a good trip.

Been on several behind the scene tours as a platinum level, all were interesting and different. I believe that the main corridor is referred to as I-95

Thanks all for the info on what books to read. This will be our 2nd time to the canal but my first time to really get into the history/construction etc. And a special thanks to "polyseraph", I enjoyed your review and pictures of the canal passage. We sail in December !!!

Simple, take the light rail from airport to downtown Seattle. Not sure what station to get off (think it's Pike Street) and walk to the Red Lion Inn two blocks away. We did this last year and it was perfectly located to everything we wanted to visit via walking. Hope this helps.

Shkeh, we were on your cruise and in your SPB tours also. We did the same thing, a little white lie, our flight was at 12:25, we told them 12:30, got grey luggage tags, they picked up bags and took them to a holding area at the airport, took the 8:00 transfer, got to airport in plenty of time to check in, etc. Great trip but as always good to be home !!!

We booked our own air but Norweigan booked our hotel and all transfers. They will make all arrangements if you want. They've done it for us in the past and everything went as planned. When are u going to Copenhagen?

As you can guess from my handle I bowl (actually pretty good, several state championships) bowling on the ship is not quite the same. Don't take your equipment too much trouble. Give it a go just to say you did it. You can also try wi-bowling, its's much easier and remember "if you can't make em, don't leave em) that's bowlers talk!!!

I put my money in my front pocket of my bermudas with a velcro closure and pin in on the inside with an industrial brand safety pin, a pickpocket would have to be really skilled to get at it. By the way, my wife had her purse lifted off the back of a chair in Costa Rica in a very elegant restaurant probably by a waiter, lost $250.00, lesson learned.

So what happens if Putin marches into the Baltics as predicted by talking heads on TV. Will NCL change their plans and alter their scheduled docking in those ports. We're going in June. Also, what about St. Pete ? Any ideas.

We loved Venice. Why spend all the money on flights and not plan to spend a couple of days in Venice, it'll be worth it. We let NCL make all arrangements and it was so seamless and worth the money. Just my two cents.
