  1. With the popularity of TV programmes such as Bake Off, how about an opportunity for passengers to book a class with the chefs onboard, use their own recipes, and make some goodies that would then be served at dinner or on a buffet or at afternoon tea?

Maybe other passengers could vote for their favourite and an overall winner?

(Apologies if this has already been done, it's been a few years since we cruised).

  2. My granddaughter has got it into her head that she wants to go to Barbados, so I'm thinking that her mum's 40th birthday in spring 2021 is a good excuse!
We've cruised many times in the Caribbean but my daughter hasn't cruised at all, and she's wary about taking a young child (four years old by then) on a nine hour flight and on a ship.

I've assured her everything will be fine, but wondered if any of you have any thoughts or advice to share?

I'm thinking of booking Premium Club on the plane, Deck 6 Outside Plus cabins, and the Drinks Upgrade.
We'd be going on 4th February 2021, during term-time so any comments about the children's club would be useful.

We're planning to book the "A Taste of Paradise/Caribbean Dreams" so that little Eleanor gets her day in Barbados!

    Many thanks.

  3. The main thing we hadn't bargained for before our first cuise was that most men DO actually wear dinner jackets!!! I would go so far as to say you would struggle to appear over-dressed.

I take one of those plastic rings with pegs attached, very useful for drying smalls and swimsuits in the shower cubicle and very quick and easy to move when you want to use the shower.

Pack a change of clothes and mini toiletries in your hand luggage so you can freshen up and change for dinner without needing to wait for your case to arrive. Twice we have had to go to dinner in our travelling clothes.
