  1. I had not planned to do this before, but just might after reading all the comments. I will be boarding the Millennium in 8 days and I currently have 300+ wines in my cellar. I love the idea of being able to enjoy wines throughout the cruise served in Riedel glasses. Typically on what day of the cruise do they hold this event?

  2. Just booked a super studio ocean view for Oct 2017. This 9 night sailing is $1,593. Is this a good price for a solo cabin? Any thoughts on cabin 6648.

    Many thanks

I'm staying in cabin# 7248. I'm ok with a smaller room, the balcony will make it seem bigger with the extra space. My total was $1,630.26 and came with $122 obc to go towards the gratuites.

  4. I have been on 13 cruises so far and have always had to check my luggage. I will be cruising on the Carnival Liberty in 5 weeks and plan on living out of a carry on this time. I need to only bring the essentials this time and leave the rest behind.

  5. Called Celebrity today to confirm dry dock date and was told April 26-May 16, 2016. We will be on the May 27th sailing so right after the dry dock.

Looks like I will be on the ship right after dry dock since I'm on the May 20th sailing. This just happens to be my first Celebrity cruise so I'm excited to compare it with the other three cruise lines I have used in the past.

  6. Has anyone done this excursion?

    EXCURSION DETAILS:

Looking for a getaway tour to a quiet place where you can just unwind? Belargo Park is a large private villa in Cap Estate. Situated on a ridge overlooking the Cap Estate Golf Course with a view out to the Atlantic Ocean beyond, the colonial- style house has an extensive garden. Begin with sight-seeing in Castries, Rodney Bay and the fishing village of Gros Islet before arriving at the villa. You will be welcomed by the owner with rum punch and invited to explore the garden and enjoy its many features at your leisure. Special features of this tour would be a Lucian cooking demonstration, a light Lucian-style buffet, and a lunchtime classical piano serenade. There are many seating areas in the garden but for those preferring to relax and sunbathe on the lawn, mats and towels will be provided for those wishing to sit and relax in the pool. Complimentary water, local fruit juice and rum punch will also be available. Wine and beer may be purchased from the bar. This is the perfect tour to relax at a luxurious house, all at your leisure.

  8. Just sent a bunch of emails with the dailies and kids programs. Sorry, some of you that requested no kids pages will still get them as I did group emails.

If you still haven't received the dailies and still want them, please respond below this post.

As for the question regarding iConcierge...someone asked at our roll call and it sounded like they were going to have it up and running by the new year.

Thanks so much for the email, less than 5 weeks now!! Superbowl Sunday cruise too. I'm happy to see the Chef's Table is alive and well. I will also be going to the wine tasting on the last day while at sea.

  9. Greetings fellow cruise-traveler. I just booked a minivan for our post-cruise days. We're sailing the X Summit January 11-18. Through Priceline I was able to pick up at the Convention Center (very, very close to Pan Am Pier, literally on the same street, just opposite side, and down maybe 200 yards?) and drop off at the Airport. It is through Avis, and tomorrow I'm going to call them to see if they have a complimentary shuttle to/from the cruiseport. I will be shocked if they don't. Good Luck!

I would like to know if Avis has a complimentary shuttle from the pier to the Convention Center?

  10. I really had my heart set on doing the Whale Watching adventure, but I would rather do it on the trimaran and not a mono hull sailboat. I received an email from Matthias stating that the repairs might not be completed before we arrive into port on February 2nd. I'm trying to decide if I still want to book with Tribal VI or go with someone else.

  11. This is a really great review, thank you so much for sharing! I am looking forward to hearing about St. Kitts, St. Marteen, and St. Lucia!

I don't think you'll be seeing any pictures from St Marteen since we could not dock on that day due to high sea swells. The only pictures would be taken from the ship. I know that there were a lot of upset people having missed this port, myself included. I waited to do my shopping in hope of doing in on St Marteen. I really wanted to get a box of chocolates from the Belgian Chocolate Box downtown.

  12. Thank you for your awesome review. I am experiencing a little Deja vu looking at all your wonderful pictures. I especially like the sea turtle photos the most. I do have to argue with you regarding Barbados as having the worst roads. We got to experience the roads on Dominica going up the mountainside and I don't think I've ever been that scared. What made the whole experience worse was that they decided to do road construction allowing only one lane of traffic to pass by.
