We did the Fun N Sun Tour with Victor Bodden in January. We were on a small van with a total of 11 people. Had a great guide that provided lots of info and answered questions. Very nice guy. We concluded with about 90 minutes at the Henry Morgan resort. Could have stayed a bit longer, but we were all " a bit older" group. Beautiful beach and crystal clear water. Prettiest I've seen in a long while. Easy walk in and out. Great service. Guide provided more info on the way back to ship. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

check out Resorts for a Day options for Playa Mia. Some include transportation. Also, check out excursions through Shoreexcurionsgroup.com. They list choices for all ports.

Yes! That's the same tour we did with Bodden in January. Was wonderful! I highly recommend it, too!

So ready to board on Wednesday! We'll be going down the day before... something we've never done before as our drive is not too far. Please ask Christian if he was there in mid May at the check in podium for MTD. His name rings a bell. If so, he did a fabulous job of seating us. Hoping he can do the same again. And, where can we do a Texas 2 step? or a nice slow waltz? Enjoying your review... see you on Wednesday.

We are scheduled to arrive at 5:30 pm on Celebrity Solstice, Aug. 18, 2022. Departure is midnight. Any suggestions for old timers spending a few hours near the harbor? We definitely will be getting off the ship for a short while! Thanks

Word of caution... we chose to order wine with dinner and use one of our 50% off Diamond discounts rather that our Diamond free drink voucher discount. No problems. However, the next night the waiter said we had used our one allotted half-off discounts and would have to apply the 20% off discount for the wine. We went with it and said fine. The next day after visiting with the Loyalty Ambassador, he agreed that each of us were entitled to two 50% off glass of wine discounts. No biggie, but just be cautious and aware. Sometimes the waiters are not familiar with the perks.

You poor thing. Imagine having to share a cruise with kids. How did you ever survive?!!!Hmmm...never mentioned that I had difficulty "surviving." I am happy to share cruising with kids. There was nothing rude in "my" comment. I passed on information to the OP from my recent experience out of Galveston. Perhaps you can offer her some information in regards to her question instead of making a judgement towards me.

We had a Jr. Suite on March 9 Adventure from Galveston. There were no designations for Suite, Diamond, etc. when we arrived at 12:30.. I did ask, but was told there was just one line for all at that time. But it went very quickly. We had a great cruise.... even though there were more kids than I expected for early March!

Not many people seem to know that you can get a Frozen Mojito. Really nice and refreshing! I also really like the Coco Loco. The bartenders in the champagne bar on Adventure also made a really good passionfruit martini, that others have not been able to replicate!
Think I'll order one of each next week!

Love Connection. Frozen layers of goodness! Bartenders frown because it takes a lot of blender actions, but.... So good!

Just got back Monday from a 5 day out of Galveston on Independence to celebrate my 65th birthday( my Medicare cruise!) First cruise since Feb 2020. Was going to be just DH and I. My dear friends had other plans! I was totally surprised and tearful to discover 9 additional shipmates! It was awesome and we celebrated huge! Truly a birthday I'll never forget! A great time was had by all. Now, on to Symphony in November for DHs 70th! Feels like coming home to be back on board!
