You shouldn't need a Covid test to get back to the US. That is only if you are flying into the US. Unless you are departing the ship in a non US port, you won't need one.
But we would be traveling back to the US from a non US port, the cruise ends in Barcelona.

Hi, can you tell me how they handled the need for a covid test one day before flights back to the U.S. ? The web site says there will be an independent company doing tests for $99 a person at the port but I wondered about lines. Did you do that or is the internet good enough that you can do a monitored self test? Thank you. Glad you loved the ship and food. Makes me look forward to the experience.

I don't know if Canada requires a neg covid test for reentry but the US does. Did you notice how that was handled for cruisers? Thank you

Thank you very much !

Thanx everyone for your input !

Thank you. I was hoping for a more concise list but perhaps it does not exist. I am more looking for staterooms with problems: noise, etc. We were on the Epic a couple years ago and the stateroom ceiling made the most annoying squeaking sound. I can tell it bothered some other past passengers because when I located the spot it was coming from, there were several wooden chopsticks wedged in there. Unfortunately, that "fix" hadn't worked.

Is there any link that reviews the staterooms on Riviera?

where do I find the spreadsheet?

Hi, has anyone done the shore excursion "corfu hiking adventure" ? I realized that the tour description does not mention how many miles it is and Princess is not able to tell me nor are they allowed to tell me the name of the vendor so I can ask. Wondering if anyone can tell me about it. Thank you

Thank you everyone for your thoughtful opinions. I really appreciate the time you took to answer my question ! :)

Hmm. Thank you for the input. Having heard both sides, I feel like it might bother me too and it would be too late to do anything about it. I'm going to try to go through a travel agent and see if they are able to get a cabin on 7 or 8.
One other question, Does it matter which side of the ship you're on? It seems like the right side sees most of the sights on this Seattle to Seattle itinerary.

My husband and I will be on the June 19th cruise if all works out. I've only been on Brilliance of the Seas before. Went to the Mediterranean last September. We really loved it. I looked at RCL again but the ship that is in Alaska at the end of June is Rhapsody and I've read too many comments in CC about an annoying constant vibration. I think that might drive me crazy. Glad to know that the overhang didn't seem to be a problem. I don't know what the scenery will be like and if looking up at mountains would be obstructed but glad the balcony did not seem unwelcoming. Anyone else out there stayed on the sky deck? I also read that the painters apparatus was stationed outside 9068 but in a picture, it looked like it was not at that cabin. It probably moves around.

I have cabin 9070 reserved and I wonder about the large overhang just above your head. It seems like it would really hinder the view and perhaps cause the balcony to be dark and wet. Has anyone stayed in one of these cabins? I reserved online and they really don't have many cabins up for grabs. Will that change as the June 2010 Alaska Cruise nears? Thanx for any input.

Has anyone done the Fjallsárlón Ice Lagoon by Zodiac excursion? It seems the bay is kinda far away but wondering if it is a nice drive? By google maps it looks like it is about 2 hours there and 2 hours back.
