We went in April one year and nothing. The Captain was hunting like crazy. The Naturalist on board was great. We did see a pod of bottle nose dolphins which are endangered. This past March we saw more than we could count in Cabo.

Our favorite ship. It was sad to say goodbye. Have a great adventure.

Sapphire our favorite ship. So sad to see he sail away from the West Coast. Best crew always. Enjoy your adventure.

You did an amazing job reviewing our favorite ship. We did a b2b ( we got off when you got on) in January in cabin A745 and now the secret is out. The aft cabins on the Aloha deck really have their own private pool. So handy, so close and so, so quiet. Our TA told us it was a special place and so true. We sail in March on the Grand, again deck seven, balcony this time with our almost private pool and bar. Your photos tell the real story and you have captured the Princess experience so well. Platinum on Carnival and now Platinum on Princess and sticking to Princess when we can. Than you!

Love the Sapphire and completed a B2B earlier this month. How I wish she was staying on the west coast but new adventures await her!

Does she have a dry dock in the near future?

Just returned from Sapphire cruise and I didn't see any two tops in the International Dining Room which is the traditional dining room. Your best bet would be late dining. Seems on our sailing early dining was packed. Late dining had many empty tables.

Love your thread and congrats Mom! Our friend and TA is on this cruise with his grandson. We join on Thursday for B2B seven days. Just love the Sapphire!

We loved the Pride. Loved it over here in California. Sister ship on Miracle in March. Hopefully she's as nice as the Pride. Have fun.
We had 15 days on the Miracle in October and the ship was in great shape. Service was amazing.

On our last cruise we had the same thing going on but they were holds and after the final accounting disappeared from our credit card.

Love the Sapphire and can't wait to sail again in January. It will be our third sailing on this great ship. We are so lucky she found her way to the West Coast.

Just returned a little over a week ago. Out bound from LA the first three days were cool and windy. The fourth sea day was in the 80's. Returning the first two days were great pool days gradually getting cooler. Day three cool with showers. The last sea day was warm but windy.

It's a port. Ships travel in and out. Entertainment is elsewhere. And if you walk to the Maritime Museum stop by the Fire Dept. and check out the Fire Boats. Full history is outlined with photos and you can check out a fire boat up close thru the glass.
