When getting off the elevators on the Coral Princess, I was always confused which way I was supposed to turn to get to the starboard side. My steward showed me a great tip I'd never noticed. Look at the carpet in each hall. They are not the same. We were on the orange side. Easy Peasy!
Always found this but the new ships have the same colour both sides now

It means you can only pay the £50 per person to change the booking once after that no changes just cancellation

i have a cruise booking for October 2018 I noticed the price had dropped £50 per person so asked Princess to change the price on my booking
I was informed by Southampton that to change now there would be a charge of £100 and you can only make one charge per booking. Obviously it was not worth changing!
Does this apply to USA passengers?

Having sailed 25+ cruises on Princess with my husband and spent a lot of money with them I now find myself on my own since sadly my husband passed away in 2016. I feel that after all those cruises suddenly i am penalised because I have lost my husband. Think cruise lines need to think about there loyal passengers and include single balcony cabins on their new build ships

Roger Bilton is the best Captain we have had in 25 cruises with Princess would love to sail with him again. The crew also seem happy when he is in charge. Cant think of anyone I would sooner have in control if there was a problem onboard

We had Roger Bilton on a 17 day cruise on the Grand in 2012 he is the best Captain we
have had would love to have him again

riclop I appreciate that some people do have their own problems and can't donate and thats fine but the majority of people who cruise can afford to donate and many would be willing to but just get caught up in their every day busy lives and my post was just a gentle nudge to remind people to try and help the fillipino crew (and their families) who look after us all so well when we are on our holiday/vacation

Hi Cruisinrabbit yes the Red Cross are taking donations. In the
UK we have a website called DEC but the Red Cross are part
Of this. If you search on website for Red Cross Philippines I am
Sure it will allow you to donate. If anyone in USA knows any site
Perhaps you could share on here please

It must be horrendous not knowing if your family are ok. I am sure Princess will do all they can to help including donating money. Just think we can all play a part I have and hope others will too

After just watching the news and the suffering that the people of the Philippines are going through I really hope that every single person who has sailed or is sailing with Princess will donate to the disaster fund. We have always had wonderful service from the Filipino crew over the years and they have made our holidays so wonderful I think the least we can do now for them is to show our support and help their families.
Please donate now

I used it on the Crown recently and won the $150 in the draw so I think they are good

We got off the Crown on the 29th June. Had a great cruise. Food was excellent and the Crown grill food is amazing. The only thing we missed was the Vista Lounge (glad to see it is back on the Royal) the Crown has Club Fusion but they cannot put many things on in there as the sight line is really bad so the entertainment that is normally on in the Vista lounge was in Explorers which is not big enough to hold the numbers of people that want to go in. The Cruise Director and her Team were excellent and I am sure you will have a great time.
