We just got off last Saturday. Had a fantastic time. Crew were exceptional.

Everything very clean. Shows good. Food great. 5 stars all around. Washy washy

was much more intense, and the concerns about the virus were noticeable.

We are booked on March 28th and have decided to rebook, as my son has Down

Syndrome and is very susceptible. Hate to do it and our great waitresses Maria

and Ladlyn were exceptional. They are at my time dining tables 125 thru 129.

If you can  let them know by contacting Steffan the head waiter and tell them

we are sorry we will not see them again.

They fell in love with our son and the service was unlike any we ever had. Ask

for them if you like. He won the belly flop and was the 3rd sexiest man on the ship!

    Any questions fire away.653701792_seanandcaptain.thumb.jpg.71b905db4be0c0444696007807589464.jpg

    We are the Moore's

    Tampa Bay

Thank you so much for letting us know how your trip was, and I LOVE this picture of your son--I can see why they fell in love with him. Wish I had seen him in those contests!  I'll do my best to find the crew members you mentioned and I am sure they will understand your concerns but will miss you nonetheless.   I'd love to hear a little about the mood of people on the ship---upbeat or very concerned?  Thanks again.

On right now and things are great. We are also dong B2B so will be on next week too.

I checked to see how many cabins are available for next week and there were still 255 cabins.

Passengers and crew all seem normal, friendly and happy.

Next week may be even better with less passengers onboard.

Thank you so much---that's great to hear.  We have until midnight tonight to cancel/postpone and are struggling with the decision.  Believe we are leaning toward taking the trip--really appreciate your message.

  3. We'll be on the Oosterdam with two teenagers. We're all experienced cruisers but Alaska is new to us. Other than knowing we'll be bringing clothes for rain/shine/cold/warm weather, I'd love suggestions on enjoying Haines, Juneau and Ketchikan without breaking the bank on helicopter tours and all-day fishing excursions.

  4. Hi there....

You mentioned GS 1298. We'll be staying in that room in a few weeks. This is our first cruise on this ship, so is there anything you can tell me about the room? We have two boys (7 and 9), so I"m trying to get an idea of how far we are from things....the set up, etc. Any thoughts?

In the meantime, we can't wait! I'd love to hear from some folks who've been on the Freedom recently regarding the process of getting on the ship. It seems like a lot of people are going to port early, and getting on early. Our travel agent said to get there about 1:30, but if things start moving earlier, that would be great!

Great pics! I miss Freedom! She was the first Freedom class I sailed on, and I remember being in such awe over the H20 Zone and the FlowRider! Ahhh...the good ole days! :D

    Here's some more pics:

The H20 Zone (they should make a place like this just for adults! LOL)
