Why not?  Not everyone likes free coffee and juices and tea...  you don't see me complaining about the increased costs for that, when I don't use them....

I drink coffee and juice for free everyday on my cruise

  2. Every cruise I book I compare a similar itinerary on Princess, Celebrity and Royal. The last few we have chosen celebrity because we get more for our $$$ than we do on the other lines. Yes celebrity has gone up but so have all of the rest

  3. You went on an excursion to a storm ravaged area. Did the excursion staff state that the area was fully restored and functional? We went to the beach in St Croix and it was basically in the same condition. I expected this as I knew that the area was hit hard by the storms. That is the choice we made by going on a cruise to an island that was recently hit by a hurricane

  4. I always chuckle when reading reviews. Same ship, same cruise. One person loves it. Another hates it.

Exactly I read the reviews and think wow were you really on the same cruise I was on. I have also noticed that a good share of the posters that complain the most have been on the same cruise line, same cruises over and over and over again. Maybe they need to just try a different experience or lighten up a little

  5. I was on the Jan 14th sailing and feel we must have been on different silhouette from the one everyone else was on after reading the horrible reviews. We thought the food was was very good and we couldn't get over how friendly the staff was. Some of the shows were not to our liking but everyone has different tastes. All in all we had a fantastic experience

  6. Celebrity is trying to appeal to a younger demo and succeeding in my opinion. I’ve travelled with them since my 30’s and never felt out of place.

Perhaps a better way to think of it, X is targeting the executive suite. You won’t find many laborers, contractors, retail clerks or hairdressers on board. Most of the guests are what I call Audi Upscale.

Just sailed for 12 days on the silhouette in January. This made me laugh. Talked to many down to earth blue collar workers while we were onboard. You don't need to be an upscale executive to sail celebrity

  7. We will be on our first Celebrity cruise in June. We are Diamond on Royal and Elite, through reciprocity, on Celebrity and we have the premium package. I need some clarification on a couple of things. Can you get a soda in a can, ask them not to open it and put it in your fridge? Can you do the same with a beer? Can you ask them to empty (or even partially empty) the fridge??

    Yes on all questions
