  1. we are just concerned if the west coast area, coming up from central America might be choppier than usual. we did this cruise going the other way and had no problems but not sure what March will bring

  2. Planning on a canal cruise from Florida to LA in later part of March, anyone have any thoughts on how El Nino might affect the waters. Do not do good in choppy waters, and don't want to spend time in my room. Any thoughts as to whether people are going that time of the year

  3. We have done both companies and are happy with both, a little thing for us it is major, we like to have a couch in our room to sit and relax after shower before dinner or whenever and on Princess you have to get a mini suite or better on NCL, a balcony room a couch is included in the room. The buffets are equal, actually like NCL better. No complaints otherwise, love the casualness, not having to take dress up

  4. Does anyone know the benefits of owning stock in Carnival (Princess). I see that you can get on board credit, but it seems as if it is limited to what it can be used for. It can not be used towards gratituties, so what can it be used for. What if you have other OBC, which would be used first. Is there any benefits to owning the stock

  5. We must agree with Lawgirl, we just came off the Vision on 9/25 and had an incredible time. Balcony cabin 7116, perfect location, fantastic room steward, knew our name by the second day. Our MDR staff Roland, Catalin and Sudhir were the best.

We did all our trips through the cruise and when we had to change the excursions to a lesser intensive one, they were most helpful.

Really read close on the excursions, and remember the weather, some of them are a lot of walking at age 70+ it does get to be a little tough.

But great time, ship looks great, entertainment great

  6. Does anyone know if NCL is going to offer the Cruise Tour packages for 2016. We have our cruise booked but they don't seem to be posting anything if they are going to have the pre cruise tours of Fairbanks, Denali, etc. Really want to do this and want to go on NCL. Any thoughts would be appreciated:)

  7. Hi friends!

The wifi Gods have shined upon us, which is going to allow me to attempt my first live thread!

After two amazing days in Barcelona, we're finally onboard the lovely Vision of the Seas, sailing off to Cannes, Florence/Pisa, Rome, Athens, Ephesus, Santorini and Naples!

I'll try to post here a couple times a day with what we did and any interesting bits we come across, and I'll do a full review when we get back! And if anyone has any questions, throw 'em at me!

The Vision is a gorgeous ship and we're already enjoying her immensely!

Saw your posting on our site for Sept. 2015 and would like to know how I can follow your trip

  8. If this was supposed to be a Grand cruise, it left a lot. Everyone seemed to have some kind of nasal congestion and cough due to the mold and lack of air circulation. One man sat next to us at the show one night and coughed and sneezed the whole time, it was very rude and hard to get up and move. Never saw them wipe the rails, a lot of time the hand sanitizers were not working. Bathrooms especially ladies by the theater were filthy and the smell of smoke and mold was horrible

  9. Your two carryon suitcases will meet you in your room each night. You do not take these around with you. Princess moves them separately. They pick them up from your room each time you move. You are given meet me tonight tags each time you change locations on your land tour. You should keep your small medscase with you and will have no trouble taking it on the train, bus etc. ENJOY! Princess makes it very easy on the land tour.

Sent from my SM-G900V using Forums mobile app

so if I understand, you can use 2 small cases for the land and then have 1 larger one taken by Princess at the beginning for the cruise. The cases for the land are like 22x14 fit in the overhead on the plane but will need for clothes etc for land, am I on the right track. Thank you

  10. Thank yu for your previous answers but am confused regarding the luggage, we are doing the cruise tour but not conisseur If I had 2 small suitcases what we used to call overnighters 22x14 one for each of us and then a small tote with meds etc. would that be okay for the tour portion and let them have the large one to go on the ship or should I take one large for each, just confused as to what I can take on the bus and train. You can answer me via email if you want, martyandgail@hotmail.com. We are going on Coral in September

Thank you again for the great info

  11. We are doing Celebrity Eclipse in January and are interested in an excursion that goes on the SeaWorld Explorer sub and I am concerned that I get a little claustrophopic and am concerned about the steps and is there room to move around, not like a Disney sub ride. Any info would be appreciated. Please answer me privately martyandgail@hotmail.com
