  1. On my next cruise I will turn Platinum. My PVP had noted my account as a temporary VIFP level in my booking.

My question is to anyone who leveled up, did you get the priority boarding. I take it would print out on your boarding pass? Since I don't cruise till May 2018, I have not printed them yet. I have FTTF booked for my elderly parents as standing in line does not work well for her. I know they are two different boarding areas, but they are usually close to one another. This I hope will allow me to help them board.

Please advise if did receive the priority boarding when changing level during your cruise.

  2. When the original menu changed their were a LOT of complaints that it wasn't on the new menu. I look forward to trying it!

I board the Magic this weekend and just requested a reservation for the Chef's Table, may as well enjoy the last menu one more time, but if it's the new menu, that's fine too! :)

Can you post a review when you get back? Pictures would be Awesome too!!

  3. One of my cruse buddies has just recently bought them to pay her cruise off. She save $600 off their 2 room for our Hawaii cruise. The 10% saving off your cruise is AWESOME.

I plan to by some to pay for my tips and a bit of spending $$

    LOVE a Bargain!!!

  4. I agree, you would have to talk to the Maître'd once onboard, but I would book the room as any time dinning as it is limited availability. The person moving to the group would have a better chance to change. But keep in mind, the person wanting to sit with a group they usually can only sit a certain amount of people at the large tables.

That being said, it could be hard for either on of you to move. :(

  5. So, you have one tender to deal with. What is the big rush anyway?

I doubt that would be worth spending $100 bucks on.

We just used it on the Dream and loved it!!

Keep in mind, you really only have to do buy it for one room. You can drop every thing you carry on the ship in the one room. As far a luggage, make sure you put the tags for the room you purchase the FTF with the luggage items you need ASAP. Then it's only $49.99 ;)

  6. I just read on Carnival website that they do not take AMEX Gift Cards.

The following Credit Cards are accepted as a form of deposit to open a Sail & Sign Account at the start of the cruise. There will be an initial hold placed on file as a deposit. During the cruise, additional holds will be added when the Sail & Sign Account exceeds the amount of deposit Carnival has on file. If a credit card is presented, this will reduce the amount available on the credit card for other purchases. If a debit/check-cashing card is presented, the hold will restrict the available cash in the checking account. Any remaining hold after the end of the cruise will automatically be released by the guest’s issuing bank within a time period determined by the bank.
