Do you mean Relais? That is the name of a chain of hotels. If so, then you probably are referring to the Relais Fontana di Trevi. I have no experience to this particular hotel but it is very close to Trevi. In fact, maybe too close. It will be very crowded in the vicinity -- read reviews carefully regarding noise.
Shops around Trevi are going to be touristy for the most part.
There are high-end Italian designers in the streets around via Condotti as well as chains. Luisa Spagnoli, for example, is known for lovely knits. And Sirmonetta gloves at the base of the Spanish Steps provides traditional, high-quality leather gloves (and a fun experience to be "fitted" for them....)
In streets around the Pantheon and Piazza Navona (both nearby) you'll find a mix of touristy places and interesting local things, including ceramics, jewelry, etc. There is a branch of the wonderful (and wonderfully expensive) "Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella" (a Florence tradition since 1612) with perfumes, soaps, hand creams, etc. based on traditional formulations of monks. (More here: https://www.lonelyplanet.com/italy/rome/shopping/officina-profumo-farmaceutica-di-santa-maria-novella/a/poi-sho/390185/359975)
Also, near the Pantheon there is a wonderful shop selling antique prints, some hand-tinted. They usually have a nice selection of famous Rome sites as well as many different plates from antique books -- birds, flowers, maps, etc.
.....and I am not even much of a shopper!
Thank you!

What is your idea of 'reasonably priced'? And when you say shopping, what kind of shopping do you have in mind? Top end designer shopping like via Condotti? Souvenir shopping? Food markets?
I would prefer to be no more than a few walking blocks from Trevi. I can get top end designers here in the US, so that is not important. We love browsing local clothing and jewelry shops and finding local places to eat. Someone mentioned the Realis?

We re looking for a "reasonably" priced hotel near the Trevi Fountain and close to shopping for the last week in May, 2018. The hotel must also have an elevator/lift and offer twin beds and a private bathroom.
We will also need transportation from the hotel to the cruise port.
Any suggestions?

We went to Maho on our Oasis trip in March. You can walk to town in about 20 mins or take the water taxi for a fee. You need to go onto the Main Street behind the seafront then again behind that street and you will see minibuses with Maho signs in their windows just cruising by. It's a set price of $2 pp. They drop you in about 40 mins at one end of the beach. On the way back. Cross the road and grab a returning minibus. Bear in mind the big planes don't start arriving/departing till around 1pm. Before that it's just light aircraft.

We did the same thing. Did some shopping first and then took the bus to and from Maho Beach.

A friend of ours has a friend that just got off a Royal ship. They claim you have to now have to carry your Luggage off the ship. The people that are flying out are the only one's that can leave there Luggage out the door the night before. Has anyone heard of this new rule.
The only time you may have to carry your luggage off the ship is if you have not left it out the night before in time for the crew members to pick it up.

My family and I have booked the ST Maarten airport excursion, Its the bus ride into Maho beach area to view
the airplanes ,shop and grab some lunch. I know we wont be going onto the beach and that's Ok.
My question is after reading some reviews of the crowds ( it looks like there will be two ships in port ) is this
a good choice or to crowded to enjoy ?
Kids are 15 & 17 we'll be there 12/20/17 the week before Christmas.
Thank's for any help
You and your kids will love the trip to Maho Beach. The planes fly in for landing just above your heads. There are a few places to grab something to eat and all of the above are right on the beach so you can swim if you wish.

Thank you for telling about your experience. I did study the deck plans yesterday and I saw I thought I saw a walk in front of 8594. Didn't see that with 8588. And when I looked at the pics taken from 8594 on a sister ship, the view blew me away. Awesome, so I grabbed 8594 while it was still available [emoji846].

Good choice!!

I vote "yes" for more late night food options.

Radiance class is my favorite, followed by the Voyager class. I am not fond of the large behemoths... too many people, too crowded, too loud, too noisy, etc.

Don't forget that you can order as many of the soups, salads, sides, starters, etc.you want at no extra cost. It is an extra cost only for an additional entree'.

Royal Caribbean works on their website on weekends. Everything should be back to normal on Monday.

Just received email from Travel Agent. Royal Caribbean is dropping Turkey as a port of call for the remainder of 2017
We will be going to Mykonos, Greece instead.
Does anyone know anything Mykonos?
Mykonos is a far better option than Turkey IMO.

Thank you everyone :). That's what I thought.

Does anyone know if they sell 14K gold jewelry in Florence or Venice, or is it only 18K gold? If 14K is available, any insight as to where to get the best prices?

It is not real maple syrup.

Captain Reune Loekling was fabulous on the Radiance. Very funny guy.

hmmm. Jamaica...
I would expect the police and possibly dea to meet the ship. If you're up early enough, you should see someone being escorted off the ship and given their own private ride.
Uh oh!!

So it has been a good few years since I've cruised...but when I cruised back in the day there was always a "fancy" Midnight buffet...but I haven't heard any mention of one this time around...Do they still do those?
I am going on the Freedom of the Sea if that matters....
They discontinued the midnight buffets yeas ago.

Ok so when we come back from our end of August cruise we will be 3 points shy of Diamond. Being of sound cruising mind I can only fathom one thing to do :D book a short cruise! So I go onto Royals website and I try to find a cruise. Here is my problem I want to leave out of Cape Liberty,NJ , or Baltimore Maryland because we live in South Jersey and I don't want to pay for air for a short cruise. I work for a school so usually only do summer but have done 2 in February ( so any month will do his time if it's a short cruise; cough cough; I might have one of those 72 hour bugs. I am looking for a 3-5 night cruise that if it's a 5 night has a weekend in it so I don't have to take too many days as I do not get vacation days only sick or personal. I can't find any thing listed. So what am I doing wrong?
There are no 3 or 5 night cruises from those ports between September and December of this year. There are, however 7 night cruises during those dates.

I usually request and get one.
