Two weeks from today we will be boarding the Oasis on the same itinerary, so I am following, too. Thanks for such a great review!

I was sorry to see that there was no escargot on the formal night menus. One of my favorites that I only get when I cruise. Oh well, I'm sure I'll find plenty of other things to enjoy! :D

I did read somewhere that the reason they have the balcony superimposed on the picture, even if it is a little cheesy, is that a lot of people had a negative "falling" feeling when there wasn't a visual barrier there. I can see that it could be a little disorienting to feel like you could fall out of your room, kind of like the roller coaster feeling in some IMAX films.

Just an FYI - back on our last cruise (pre-Freestyle machines), my hubby and I learned that the bartenders will add grenadine to your "plain" soda upon request as part of the soda package

I know, not as much variety as the machines, but we really enjoyed our "Roy Rogers" (cola + grenadine) throughout our cruise.

I have a teenage daughter with some sensory issues and other challenges similar to autism and have wondered how she would handle this sensory/people-heavy environment, so I'd particularly love to hear your daughter's perspective!
