Howdy all
Checking to see if anyone knows if they have electrical outlets by the bed stands for plugging in of CPAP's? I saw that they had plugs by the desk, but didn't see any by the beds.

Current job has a little over a four minute commute so that is rather nice <G>. Work with great folks and I never have dull days, so life is pretty good. The only two things that would make it better would be more money and more time off <G>....

Two retirements down, one more to go <Grin>. I didn't do any count downs. I just worked until they pissed me off and then retired. If all goes well, I have seven more years here before eligible then if I am still enjoying myself will stick around, but if not, well it will be Bu Bye for the last time <G>... Then it will be full time vacation time <G>...

I fell off the wagon so to speak with the Wii since I have been up to my ears in work, it showed 57 days off <sigh>. But have started back on it, hopefully I will not be back sliding anymore.

Depends on what our mood is and what we have eaten that day. We are good with Pizza, oriental or salad... Sometimes though we will just have sandwiches. Just depends on the mood for the night... :confused:

Glad to hear that life is turning around for the better... I too have been away from home and not doing the Wii thing. I hope to get on tomorrow for the first time in awhile and get scolded from the little Wii person... Good luck to y'all... :eek:

Wii Fit is a balance board that you stand on and do exercises using it. It works on balance and other types of exercises. It is rather nice, there is also something called Wii Active, that has resistance bands that you use to exercise with along with the control wands. That is the cliff notes idea of it. You can go on Amazon and see all of the stuff and read the reviews though.

No Wii since last week, back didn't get better and is being worked on <sigh>... I actually miss the Wii and the little noises the thing makes <G>... :)

Hi Y'all;
Thanks for the well wishes and the welcome. I went and bought the Wii and got both the Wii Fit and the Wii Active. I've only tried out the Wii Fit so far as that has been more than adequate for me <G>, after getting the hang of all the balance stuff and yoga etc... on the Wii Fit, I will get after the active too.
Didn't do anything besides golf this weekend. My back is giving me fits the last two days <sigh>. Doesn't help putting the duty belt on with the extra weight and protuberances from it. But the Wii is trying to make me feel good by telling me that my age is three years younger than it actually is ( I have this thing fooled.) and in a week I am down 2.5 pounds. I am rather happy <G>... Now if the back gets to feeling better, I will spend more time on it. Appointement with Chiropracter this week to see what is ailing me.:eek:

Hi Y'all;
reading this thread has made me seriously contemplate going out and getting a Wii for the wife and I. We've messed with friends Wii's and have thought that they were fun, but didn't think that they were really seriously good for exercise, but y'all are making me rethink that thought. I've seen some new stuff at Costco for the Wii that puts resistance into what you do along with some different monitoring devices for your legs. I may just have to give it a go...

Actually it could be by design, metal contracts and expands depending on temps.

John;
Thanks for putting this all together, and it is nice to see a fellow IPA member here. Who knows, we may get to meet someday. I want to get back to CA. sometime to see some old friends down south and even stop by my old PD.

I kind of like what was mentioned earlier, get what you pay for, as in like the old days (back to the future.). There was first class, then the lower classes down to stearage. But those were the days when it was more for transporation then it was for a vacation. However, I kind of like the idea of getting what you pay for...

First time on Cunard, I am assuming when it says Red and Gold that the attire is shades of Red and Gold.
