Been updated with the Aurea benefits. We were shocked we had our minimum bid accepted so fast, less than 12 hours after we placed the bid.

Congrats!! We sail next Sunday (3/31) on Seashore and also bid the minimum to upgrade from Aurea balcony to a Suite. Super excited that it’s an Aft Balcony. I guess depending on price, I’ll never not do it for future cruises

This is my worst fear...forgetting to pack my documents.  I'd ask at the pier if there is any recourse.  Can someone in NC get copies faxed or e-mailed?  Is that even an option?

    So sorry...

I believe I have read this has been done before, the copy/fax scenario. I’d definitely inquire either at port or via phone with customer service

We just returned from our cruise and wanted to report back regarding our beach bed experience.  There were 7 ships in port when we were in Cozumel and all the beach beds were reserved.  We had number 16 on the beach, which for us was the perfect location.  My husband is a beach guy while I prefer the pool so our location meant we were close to both.  The ones on the beach just seem a little more private than the ones by the pool.  Despite so many ships in port, there were still many, many unfilled beach chairs so, although it was busy, it did not feel overly crowded to me.  I liked that our beach bed also included a table and chairs for eating.  They were willing to bring you a lounge chair if you wanted one of those also.  The service was fantastic.  We both enjoyed our drinks and all the food.  I am not usually a napper, but I know I feel asleep at least once on the comfortable bed.  We truly enjoyed our day and this is our go to place when in Cozumel.  Happy to answer questions anyone might have.

Under 30 days now! This is great news, thanks for the update!!!

Food in the sports bar starts at 6PM to 10pm. We haven't tried it yet.

Ever get a chance to go? If anyone else reads this and gets a chance, snap a pic 😉

Also the sports bar has good food with good prices.

Could someone post the menu. We sail 3/31 and I have a feeling this will be one of my go-to spots.

Nohoch has changed ownership/management since you were there. Recent reviews I've seen look pretty favorable.

Maya Chan or Jaime's Blue Reef (Jaime is former owner of Nohoch) would be my picks for AI.

Booked Jaime’s for our trip in April based on reviews here. Can’t wait!

I'm glad to see that some people have had good luck.  My 11 year old will be 1.5 months shy of 12, he's already 5'9" tall, 220lbs and plays football in the 13-14 league.  So I'm super hopeful that he can age up!!

They said we could go down to the Circle C area and ask but he decided to just hang with his peers and had a blast. Good luck!

We just stayed at Four points by Sheraton, excellent location.. with tons of restaurants within walking distance., and they offer shuttle service to the port.

Cocoa Beach, we check in Sunday? Looks like a nice spot. Stayed at an older property last time that was recently renovated…Beachside I think

Now did it matter that he was only one month away from being 12, did it matter that he was already 5'6/mature for age…but they did agree to move him up…Closer to two months but definitely a tall and mature 11 y/o.  Also hope we have the same luck as you.  Thanks!!

I take it your kid is in 6th grade -Yes this exactly

But, do you cruse often? Will he get 1-2 more chances to be in Circle C? If so, I'd put it this way.... it's his last chance to do CO. Has he been a shark yet? He’s cruised since he was 5, believe he’s been through them all. We cruise every spring break

If he was born late August, and the cruise was early August, then virtually all the incoming 7th graders would be in Citcle C, so I would definitely ask to age up.  Born in June, cruise Monday…wooooo hooooo!!!

    Thanks for the insight!

  11. Wondered if anyone has recently sailed with a child, 11 turning 12 in a few months (we sail Monday), that was allowed to go up to Circle C instead of Camp Ocean. Wasn’t sure how strict they were and/or if was a supervisory call. He’s done CO many times over past cruises, but have a feeling he may be “too cool for school” to hang with the younger kids. Hope they will but understand it not. Thanks!

Hi, We were just there in February. We rented a 6-passenger golf cart, drove around to see the lighthouse, saw Pillory Beach, got some cold drinks around Cockburn Town, and sat on the beach there. Had the place to ourselves. (It's the exact place that's in the picture on the map the golf cart guys give you)

**As for lunch, we pulled in and parked our golf cart where the sign says "Jack's Shack", but we walked past Jack's, a little closer to the ship. There's a little yellow shack - "Island Jerk Bar and Restaurant" (it's tiny).

There were a few picnic tables. We had two plates of Curry chicken (YUM!!!) and two plates of Jerk chicken (delicious, and spicy) between five adults. The Pepsi's were icy cold, which we loved.

What company did you use for golf carts? We’ve explored other ports this way and would love to do it here. TIA

  13. As you enter the debarkation “terminal” there will likely be someone selling round trip tickets, believe it was $15 p/p. You’ll walk down the street to just before senor frogs and board a boat there. I want to say it’s on the half-hour

If you want to know if it’s a good deal I’d do a mock booking for a balcony and see how much it is.

    This☝️☝️☝️☝️
Had never done a balcony until last month with another line. Wife is hooked, said check to see any were available for a 7/28 inside on Sunshine we already had booked. $200 for upgrade to Aft Balcony!

We were happy to explore a new island.  Rented a golf cart for 6 people for $100 for the day.  Went to the beach and then drove down into Alice Town to find some local conch fritters.  Discovered a beautiful secluded beach down near Alice Town.  This morning, we were notified that our Carnival cruise on the Sunshine in October has been rerouted to Bimini instead of Nassau.

This sounds awesome! Just got back from a MSC cruise with a stop at Nassau, as others have said, lots of construction. Did you rent the golf cart ahead of time or know if you can? We’re on Sunshine 7/28 with a group of 20 and this sounds right up our alley. Never before have I been more excited about a port change!

You might want to check your arrival time for the Divina.

The two times I cruised on the Divina (precovid), boarding times started at noon.

We got to the terminal at 10:30, on board with drink in hand by 11. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. Cheers!

Though not ancient, the Divina is older, so no USB ports.  There are only the usual two European and two American outlets.  USB ports are only on Meraviglia and Seaside class ships.

Thanks, glad we have a 3:1 plug-in. Anxiously waiting to wake up in Cocoa Beach and head to the port, board at 10:30 and cruise for the first time in 3 years
