  1. Agree horseshoe bay is just a mini bus ride away, usually head to that on Sunday and head to Tobacco Bay in St Georges Monday , we take the Free NCL ferry to St George, and either Taxi or walk to Tobacco Bay Beach (there is quite a hill to beach ) . Also walk around St George. Any questions Ask locals many so Friendly.  Have Fun, Love Bermuda my Favorite Island.

  2. Glad to hear about the Atrium...could never get a seat on either the Breakaway or the Gem. We could only listen to what was going on if we happened to be in O'Sheanan's eating at the time that something was going on below. Almost saw a few fights breakout over some passengers hanging onto seats when others could not even find standing room to view what was going on!:(

Was the free ferry to St. George working?

    MARAPRINCE

The Free Ferry was not working. We were told another ferry was arranged for NCL passengers when we went out to the ferry area the people out there knew nothing about a free Ferry arranged for NCL passengers so we ended up having to buy our passes for the ferry . I was disappointed with that.

  3. How is your first-time Cruise Director Zach dong?
Hi I was on Escape last week, Zach is awesome, he is so layed back and funny, personable. He was great reminds me of a Jim Carey look alike, serious when needed and full of spunk. I was concerned being new , but he absolutely pulled it off !

  4. Thanks so much for the live review! We leave in a few weeks and I've been waiting for reviews :)

If you get the chance, could you please see if Bermuda transportation passes are available on the ship? I've read mixed reports about them being available at shore excursions.

Hi I was on escape last week , no transport passes on ship, you can get them outside at transport building down pier.

  5. First great choice for Beach, you can take ferry to st George and walk it is about 15-20 min walk up hill to beach or take taxi from st George to beach , When leaving beach ,then take taxi to Caves or walk back to st George up hill again, then take bus to caves from st george. (I may even suggest the aquarium for that age it was great to see. ) then when you leave caves you can take bus back to Hamilton then ferry to ship is one option , next option is bus back to st George then ferry back to ship, ( just remember to check that you are on BERMUDA time with catching ferries and buses ) other option for return is taxi to st George then ferry back to Ship. A taxi from the caves or even tobacco bay is a big expense. The bus system is very easy to navigate and also the people of Bermuda are very helpful if you ask them. i personally have traveled all with children , i do have to say the best we did was rent a taxi for a day 6 to 7 hrs. We got to see some out the way places as well go to tobacco to swim and lunch in st George, caves and back to ship was an expense but the best money spent so nice to see the island. Have fun ! Enjoy Bermuda , cannot say enough about it, coming up on 11th trip and still exploring and learning about Bermuda, never gets old.

  6. We drove from Boston 2 years ago, on a Saturday stayed in Stamford Ct. Crowne plaza , beautiful hotel, not bad price. got up Sun, morning left around 8:00 am stopped for coffee and arrived at cruise terminal around 9:45 , it was so relaxed. Best thing staying the night before and we just used GPS for quickest route . So easy to find terminal and parking right next to ship, seems pricey but so worth it ! :)
