  1. I booked a single studio on Adventure of the Seas (with help of a travel agent) for what I thought was a good price at just over $1300 CAD. Regular inside cabin would have been $1900. I booked it over a year prior to the cruise date. There are only 6 single cabins on the ship and they book really fast. So it is possible to get single studios at a reasonable fare, it's just not easy.

  2. I recently booked a single cabin on Adventure of the Seas using a TA as the website prices were incorrect. I was happy with the pricing, $1300 CAD compared to almost$1900 CAD for an inside stateroom. More money for me to spend. I agree with a previous poster that I probably spend more on board than other couples as I will book a ship excursion in most ports. I feel more comfortable on an excursion than exploring on my own. The size of the cabin isn't that important as I only sleep, shower and change there. I like people watching so I would rather sit in a lounge or around the pool than in my stateroom.

  3. I was just there last month. I rented a beach cabana, they have 2. The Cabana rental is $50 if you spend at least $50 on food and drink(which we easily did having lunch and and a few drinks) . I figured it was a good deal as 2 loungers and an umbrella would cost $30. I really enjoyed the cabana, you had 2 loungers outside the cabana and a table and 4 chairs inside and under the shade. The food and drinks were good although on the expensive side (but everything is expensive in Grand Cayman). You got bar and food service to the cabana. The beach had a lot of people on it, but it wasn't crowded. There was one other ship in port that day.

  4. croozlady,

Who was your tour guide? There's one that's all over youtube. I think they called him Captain Crazy. His laugh is hilarious!

    :D:D:D:D

We did the Nine Miles tour with Zion bus tours through Carnival. Captain Crazy was our tour guide and he was crazy. I have to admit, it was one of the best tours I have done on a cruise. Reggae music all the way, great scenery, rum punches.
