Polar Bear Mom

We have had a corner aft cabin (Neptune Suite) on deck 4 numerous time.  I love it.  Balcony is fabulous.  The views are great.  If windy on one side of balcony you go to the other side.  The best way to see Alaska.  I can get car sick, cannnot do amusement rides, can get sick watching movies if the motion moves fast.  I never get sick on the cruise.  The movement of the ship is so relaxing.  I always have Gravol with me in case of motion sickness and very rarely do I have to use it on the ship.  Do have to use it on some of the excursion buses.  We have just booked a South America/Antarctica cruise and yes we booked a corner aft cabin (Neptune Suite) on deck 4.  So looking forward to it.

We sailed on the S.S. Rotterdam in 1989.  We stayed on the S.S. Rotterdam in 2015.  Did the tours of the ship.

Enjoying your blog.  DH and I will be joining the cruise on Aug. 16.  Looking forward to meeting you onboard.  Last week we received a nice upgrade.  Went from a Signature Suite to a Neptune.  This is our fourth time on the Zuiderdam and fourth time in the same cabin.  A corner aft.  The views should be beautiul.

We are going on our fourth Alaskan cruise on Sat. Have been to Ketchikan each time and done most things. We want to go to Wal-Mart. Have gone to many on our travels and can find something completely different at each one.

It is always interesting to look around and see different items. At Wal-Mart we will see the local people not the ones in the souvenier stores who are the same where ever you go.
