Drinks everywhere includes everything like cheers

Thanks so much for the replies. Usually sail Carnival and giving Royal another go.

Is everything on the ship open on port days, such as slides, flow rider and specialty restaurants for lunch?
-
We always take $1 bills and tip with one for each drink. We have no problems getting drinks.
-
Sailing Liberty after long absence from Royal, and things have changed somewhat. Do you or should you pre-book specialty dinners and whatever else ahead of time? We have MTD and not sure if we choose a time before we cruise or just show up when we want to eat each night like we do on Carnival. Any advice is appreciated.

We are hooked too, have 5 more booked right now. Looks like I have some serious sailing to do to catch up to some of you.

The Breeze is starting her last week of drydock, apparently in Galveston instead of Freeport Bahamas as I've usually seen the ships do it. Does anyone have any idea where in the port of Galveston this is happening? The webcams don't show it anywhere in the port so I was wondering if someone knew.
The Breeze is in the Bahamas.

The Breeze already has Jiji's deck 5
Breeze has Bonsai Sushi on deck 5 :D

Usually with the P&G rate Carnival picks your room, so just know you might get a undesirable room.

Mocha Chocolate Getaway😊

My upcoming cruise has dropped 70.00, pp, but it's a GTY rate😑Not willing to give up my room and let Carnival pick one for me.

We did a 12 day cruise. The shows did not repeat, there were lectures and crafts also. If I remember right, 44 kids on board, and also sailed during the school year. We also felt very young on this cruise, Lol.:D

No charge.
Just wondering if the demo menu is the same on every ship?

Check out Tabyana beach, excellent snorkeling from the shore. They also have security watching your things.

Nachi is awesome

We went in May and the water is cold. We saw a couple people in our group not wearing wetsuits and they were freezing.
-
You never know if the ferry will be smooth or not. The last time we were on it, this last May, it was really rough and people were puking their guts up.
The turtles are awesome over there, they just munch on grass underwater and they don't mind you watching them.

We loved Malcolm. Don't miss his vaudeville show, it's really funny.
-
Love Malcolm the CD on the Freedom.

Carnival always give us the DOU card as soon as we enter the casino on every cruise. It's a nice perk and saves us a lot of money.

Go to insuremytrip lots of options and cheaper.

Minors or not they will make you wait with them in the regular check in. Only those booked in your cabin get priority. Just went through this last month.

We got an upsell call to move from an OV on deck 2 to a balcony on deck 8 for 80.00. We took the deal, but if I had to do it over again I wouldn't. Deck 8 was really noisy. I took the chance that it might be ok, but the pool deck above us was a bad choice.
