  1. Book it.

We booked the Ecstasy before her dry dock and we had no issues. And actually it seemed like the crew were all just a little bit happier. We talked to a few and some were going home for a short time, some were switching to other ships, and a some were staying on to help refit.

My wife and I are actually thinking of the same cruise. Our only holdup is work scheduling right now.

  2. Just kidding. I have no clue. All I know is I was trying to catch a wink of sleep and this Russian woman kept calling on the PA for 5 people. Maybe they were waiting on people?

It seems like when we are in Cozumel we are always waiting on someone. When they start calling for someone over and over we usually go up top and watch for them to come running. Always fun to watch drunks run :)

  3. Are you sure about your final payment date? Final payment is usually 60-75 days prior to departure date depending on the number of days of the trip. If you are sailing June 22, final payment would be due sometime in April, not the end of May. Just don't want you to miss paying it late!

Some sales are 30 day final payment.

  4. We enjoyed the Rose Hall and shopping excursion in Jamaica. Anything that has visiting the turtle farm in Cayman would be fun as you get to hold them. On our last trip there we had a grandmother with us that uses a walker some and she went with us to the sting rays and actually got in and swam with them. It was a little effort to get her back in the boat but she made it and had a blast. If the water isn't rough it should be quite easy, but she also wouldn't have to get out if she didn't want to or thought she couldn't. For cozumel you could just go to a beach and relax with little effort.

  5. Just thought I would post this in the effort to help. It is directly from the CCL website.
