I think that is the objective with X.  New Pres. is a direct RCI product and all these changes bring the two lines closer together. I am very concerned about whether Sky Suites will lose Luminae next. We are in the process of paying off a b2b in Jan. on EQ in Sky suite. I wouldn't mind losing the Retreat Lounge or sun deck, but outrmain reason for booking suites is Luminae. Not that the food is that much better (and we love the food in the buffet), but for the smaller, quieter dining experience with such personal service from a crew we have sailed with 5 times now. When Luminae is gone, we are done with suites...and maybe with X.

Luminae is the very reason we book a suite. If that changes, so will our loyalty.

  2. Looks like the "Wine & Dine Package" is available on select sailings. Anyone think it's only available on TA's or non US sailings? I didn't have time to check where each ship was sailing on a given week. :D:confused:

Not available on either according to their rep a few minutes ago. Told to buy package that is $42. a day x 2 instead. It was quite clear I was not the first to protest this! Quite disgusted. Why fix something that is clearly not broken. Will be spending significantly less on board for wine and enjoying ports more. Diamond Plus but ready to take loyalty elsewhere after this final straw. Tired of watching people spoiling their and our vacation trying to get their $ out of over priced packages. Not a healthy or ethical practice in my opinion.

  3. In doing our research I read in several places (on several sites) that people believe that you cannot bring wines on board (paying the $15. corkage fee per 750 ml bottle) IF they are wines that NCL ships have on their wine list. I called NCL directly today and they confirmed that indeed this is NOT the case. You may bring any vintage/winery (commercial-not homemade) brand/bottle you like regardless of whether they have the same bottle available on board and pay the corkage fee to do so.
