Unfortunately, they don't do whale watching on April 1, which is our day in port.  Thanks anyway.

Will be cruising to Hawaii in March on Ruby Princess.  Looking for a local tour (not cruise ship) for whale watching.  Would appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks.

I booked Hawaiiancruise that sails 3-24-19 from Los Angeles because Princess offered freegratuities and discounted airfare. Flights had to be booked by May 2. I justdiscovered that no flights are available until May 13 for this cruise.Therefore, no one on this cruise can get the discounted airfare. In otherwords, ZERO out of 2500 passengers are eligible for the discount theyadvertised. That is deceptive advertising. Yes, there are other cruises towhich the discount applies. However, why even include this cruise if bothdiscounts are not available. I have called my travel agent and Princessdirectly and have been told that there's nothing they can do. I have been onseveral other cruises but this was my first on Princess. I am canceling and Iwill never book on Princess again unless they will make this right.

Update - I just talked to Princess about the unavailable airfare discount that I recently posted. After I found out about this issue, I began posting on multiple social media sites that Princess needed to "make this right." Magically, Princess is now allowing flight bookings for the March cruise beginning May 13 (previously it was May 2 but no flights were available). I am impressed that Princess did satisfactorily resolve this issue so quickly. Kudos to Princess. Consequently, Hawaii here we come (in March 2019).

We are booked for February 2019. Our flights are 'available'. However, $100 off for that far away a date isn't much of a sale (International) as I am hoping the price drops more than that between now and then. I didn't book it because of the 'flight sale', I booked it because I wanted the cruise. If you are booking because of the flight sale, you could have seen that flights aren't available and won't be before the sale ends.....by doing a mock booking.

 

You are definitely in the cancellation period if it bothers you that much you can cancel....and be cautious when booking your next cruise on Princess of any other line....
