Yes, you can make the 12:15 flight. Just off Oasis today and did the luggage valet service to MCO. We walked off the ship at 8am, through custom fairly quickly, and on our way to the airport by 8:15 using private car service. We were through security and at the gate by 9:45 for a noon Southwest flight.

Just back from Christmas cruise on Oasis. It was our third time on Oasis. The ship is definitely showing some wear with age. I would suggest Anthem if the itineraries and price are similar. We have been on Oasis, Allure, and Harmony.

After numerous phone calls and emails they "believe" they have found our luggage at the terminal in Barcelona. It still has all the tags on it and no other passenger picked it up by mistake. They are not telling me where it was found - but at this point I really don't care. Because it is a port out of the US and the bag is essentially traveling without an owner, they require us to list every individual item and cost of each item in the piece of luggage for customs. I pity the person whose job it is to match her list of over 100 things with the contents of her bag of 14 days of dirty clothing that has been sitting in some warehouse for 5 days. I can only hope we receive it within a months time and everything is there.

Another question, if you did not have time to look in the other place that they put luggage and your suitcase was there then you left your suitcase behind? I can see having to leave right away to catch your flight.

Seriously, have you traveled internationally since all of the terriorist attacks? It is a completely different ballgame now. Have you even cruised with RCCL because you obviously DO NOT know their system in foreign ports. The luggage was not where it was suppose to be. It was not in the suite partitioned off area with our other luggage. They do not put it in another areas where we didn't have time to look. We had 4 hours after disembarkment to catch a flight from Barcelona to London. Spent half an hour extra looking for our bag in the terminal where suite pinnacle and other decks were located. Do you expect for RCCL to lose your luggage on every cruise you go on and add time to look for it every time you cruise? As it was we stood in a priority line at British Airways for 90 minutes waiting to check bags and get our boarding passes. Do not reply just to hear yourself talk as many on cruise critic do.

PLease Please Please do not reply unless you have some suggestions or past experience with RCCL lost luggage. Your lectures are not helping anyone. Like another post said if everyone carried their own luggage off it would be a mess. Can you imagine the situation in the elevators with 5,000+ people carrying all their own luggage. YOU wouldn't be able to depart for hours. I personally will never let a cruise line handle my luggage in a foreign port. Spoke to RCCL again this morning. Just this morning I was the third call this representative spoke to about missing luggage from Harmony in Barcelona for June 26, 16 sailing. I think this problem is a Barcelona port problem. Warning to anyone sailing on Harmony - Do not let them handle your luggage for departure.

Thanks billsgal for the encouraging post. I am posting to let others know what may happen to their luggage if they leave it with RCI before departure. I travel often domestically and internationally. I have taken many cruises and follow all of the "suggestions" about making luggage stand out and have identifying tags inside and out of bags. For someone to suggest the bag was stolen because the tag said suite pinnacle is crazy. You must not have cruised recently. That is on the tag RCI gives you to put on you luggage to identify it in the luggage reclaim. Please reply if you have any suggestions with RCI contacts or a similar situation.

AGREED!! I am posting here to inform everyone not to let RCL handle your bags but instead carry them off yourself. Maybe if more people are aware of how often this occurs and the total lack of help from the cruise line when it does happen, RCL will improve their departure procedures.

They have changed the baggage area in the terminal in Barcelona and it is no longer a carousel system but rather the individual numbered areas are roped off like they are in Fort Lauderdale. I agree, it most likely was taken by another passenger or someone working at the terminal. My biggest issue right now is time. It was my daughter's bag and she is heading off to college in 4 weeks. I do not want RCL to drag this on for months hoping it will suddenly reappear somewhere. I need them to determine it lost in a timely manner so that I may collect on my travel insurance and repurchase my daughter's clothing, shoes and makeup with the money from the travel policy. We were gone for close to 2 weeks and she took along most of her summer clothing like any teenager girl would do. Any one with any suggestions on whom to contact at the Barcelona port would be appreciated. RCL told me they need to "determine how and why my bag was lost" before they can track it down. Really, lets just find the bag!!!!

Just off the Harmony sailing june 26, 2016 and will post a detailed review soon. We were in a Royal Family suite and put our luggage out the night before departure as we have done for all of our past 6 RCCL cruises. When we got to the luggage reclaim at 7:20am a piece of our luggage was missing. All 4 pieces were left out at the same time, all had personal luggage tags as well as royal's pinnacle suite tag with our name, address, number and email. No one at the terminal was interested in helping us locate the missing piece. We searched the one terminal by ourselves but did not have time due to an early flight to search the other terminal. Trying to file a claim with them is very frustrating. Never let RCCL handle any luggage especially if the port is in a foreign country. I suspect we will never see that piece of luggage again due to their negligence.

How does the price of an Aqua suite compare to GS? Am I paying more for

a lower priced room? The real problem is when I call they have no idea

how to answer the questions I am asking so I am relying on those who have

cruised in this cabin.

Thanks Ryanc78 for the pictures. We have your cabin booked for spring break 2015 and I was waiting to see some pictures before I switched back to conventional GS. How is the storage for clothing/etc? We are a family of 4 (two teens who have shared the pull out couch on previous cruises). Will it be tight for us? The kids are not in the room except to sleep/change. Is there a table with chairs to eat at on the balcony? Were you able to put chairs on the side balcony or is there only room to stand? Thanks for all your information!

We have 12330 booked for a family of 4 cruise in April. From what I have heard today it will be very crowded with 2 adults and 2 teens. We have stayed in GS and OS on Allure and Oasis and enjoyed all the room and storage. It doesn't sound like the pull out couch will sleep 2. Where is all the extra square footage in the room compared to regular GS or are those numbers previously posted incorrect? I think I will be changing my reservation tomorrow.

We are looking forward to a beach day in Cozumel. What beach would you recommend? Traveling with two teens and trying to decide between AI and not. Looking for a beach with comfy chairs/umbrellas, place to get drink/snacks and maybe water activities for the kids where we can spend a few hours. Any recent (last 6 - 8 months) experiences/reviews would be appreciated.
