We have been to the eastern caribbean a couple of times so won't be going again this time altho we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would like to share with you a neat thing that happened to us on our cruise to Mexico in '07. We attended the non-denominational church service and sat next to a friendly couple. As it turned out, they were our "boat buddies" for the rest of the cruise and we had a marvelous time. We have visited and stayed in their home in Wisconsin several times and they will be coming out to California in April. My husband and I are ballroom dancers so we danced every night and our boat buddies did too.

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't checked this in a while. We decided to give Royal Caribbean a try and have booked a cruise on the Freedom of the Seas for Sept 25, 2011. It's me, my DH, my BFF and her husband (a pastor) and my mom and dad (a pastor). We would love it if some other believers would join us. :D

This is a wonderful idea. We had booked a cruise last month to the W. Caribean but discovered there would also be 500 gay men onboard so we cancelled because we just would not be comfortable. I give the glory to God for allowing me to find this out before we set sail and we were able to get most of our money back because we bought the "cancel for any reason" insurance.
