So now we just learned that Tunis in our itinerary of the Feb. 1 cruise has been cancelled and replaced with Naples, just like some cruises in December and January. Algiers is still in the itinerary, though.

Hi all I'm on board viking star now so sad even Cagliari now was cancelled.

So we are on sea day and seems like activities not that interesting.

Btw Tripani was changed by Palermo :))))

Rosethorn thank you for your review of Viking Hemming Douro River cruise good tips this is our 3rd one with Viking we liked it the only ugly part is the flight they give us not senior friendly cause of 2 sop overs from Portugal then Florida then Los angeles but what can I do I learned my lesson.;)

I am not happy with the way Viking handles clients concerns we booked our second Viking cruise April 12-19,2014 Danube Waltz and they also booked our air and can't believe that the air sched from Budapest to LAX leaves at 6:30 am and Viking knows very well that is the last night of the cruise with Captain's Farewell Dinner so they just want us not to go to sleep that night for they will transfer 3:00 am I called them and voiced out my concern they said it will cost me another $350 to change my flight schedule and they told me I should have talked to their "air specialist" that would cost another $100 for both of us. I think they should be more considerate in planning the air for their passengers knowing their cruise caters to elderly adults. Where is their motto "Exploring the world in comfort" but after the cruise it will be ????????
