Well, yes... all those cabins have a notch.  It appears as though the notch in 12624 is closer to the verandah/patio door than the notch in 16626 so the bed will be closer to the verandah and the sofa further away.

The small square on the left of the image is the balcony.  For 12624 the notch out from the room (so to give extra room to put the bed) is not right next to the balcony.  However being a mini suite I think they always put the sofa near the balcony don't they?  On this new ship they probably swap the bed and what ever (dresser/storage?) is near the bathroom?

Who knows though until we start seeing some sneak peaks of the cabins.  Can't wait for that!  🙂

Are you sure it wouldn't be 12626?

    Pretty sure.  🙂

If the deck plans are correct it definitely should be.  The notch pushing out from the room is so the bed can fit in the room and the sofa would go right next to the bed

I look for the same thing!  I prefer to have the sofa near the balcony when possible too.

12624 will have the sofa near the balcony.  How to tell is to look for the notch going out from the room.  That is where the bed goes.

  4. On the Divina this past March a few days (5 or 6 maybe) a hold was put on my credit card for my upgrade bid amount.  My cabin number never changed and two days (I think it was two) before the sailing I received an email from MSC saying I did not get my upgrade bid and would sail in my original cabin. The hold disappeared the next night.

  5. I buy it before every Divina cruise.  Feels more like it's free\included in the cruise when I've paid for it well ahead of time.  🙂  There is no difference in price between on board and beforehand so you can wait but I like having it done not having to spend the time going to the F1\4D theater to sign up.

It does include everyone in your cabin and all 3 (F1, 4D, and Bowling) are unlimited use.  Mostly we use it for the bowling and will maybe do one or two movies and one or two spins with the F1 but mostly it's the bowling.  I have almost never seen both alleys working for a full cruise but usually one will be.

Do check your bill after a day or two though.  A couple of cruises they billed me for each string of bowling but a trip to the service desk was all it took for have them removed and the billing fixed for the future ones.

Not only are those cans of pop free, you can ask your room steward to change them all to Diet Coke, regular Coke, or Sprite. You are just limited to how many total cans of soda you have to start.

    Great to know!  Thanks!

Even though we get Princess Plus, I still enjoy the mini bar set-up. It's nice to have cans of pop and a few beers in the fridge. We send out for free laundry every other day, if not every day. Finally, it's nice to get the 10% discount on shore excursions.

Darn!  You mean the first round of soda and beer is part of the mini bar free set-up?  I guess I should have asked on board!  Have had 2 cruises as elite and both I ran to the buffet to get Diet Coke  before turning in so I make a rum and coke or vodka and Sprite to drink on the balcony.  Doh!  🙂

We're booked on next year's TA as well. This will be our first Halloween while cruising. I'm sure it will be wild!

That was definitely one of the draws for this one.  I expect it will be a very interesting night!  No idea yet on our costumes yet.  My brother and I were thinking the Dumb and Dumber suits, but the wives are thinking they want more a group costume.  We will see!

The food in the Sports Bar on the Seashore and the Seaside are not free and you pay for them.  Loved the Sports Bar on the Divina and went there daily.  Wish the Seashore and the Seaside Sports Bar were like the Divina!

We were on the Divina in January and the Sports Bar now charges for food in there too.  🙁

They offered all the packages. Usual first day stuff, where the crew is making the rounds pushing the food and drink packages. They push the packaged pretty hard, not sure why they wouldnt let people just buy them prior to the cruise like the 4+ night ones.

    Thanks again! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Yes, you can purchase it once you get on board. Or if you're doing the back back once the three-day starts. We also called and tried everything online to purchase it for our 3 day but were not able to prior to the cruise.

Great news!  Thanks for the info!  Not to be too greedy with the questions but... Was it just Easy offered for sale or could you purchase Premium?

    Thanks again! 🙂

The process today for the B2B was pretty straightforward. We left all items in our room and were told to meet at a certain restaurant this morning at 8:45 am. Last night we received our PCR test and our packet with back-to-back information. I'm guessing they're still trying to get the Kinks worked out...

Thanks for the B2B info!  We are doing the 4/3 nighters starting Labor Day and we're curious about it.

Have you noticed if there is any availability to purchase a drink package on the 3-night portion?

    Thanks again!  🙂

  14. Same happened here.  I noticed a great price this past Sunday on the Divina for the 14 night cruise leaving the day after Christmas.  Our group of friends that cruise together decided fast it was too good to pass up and in total we booked 5 cabins that night.  Monday morning we had others that wanted to book but the price was then almost double what it was Sunday night!

  15. I know for sure I have seen people in there as early as 9AM watching cricket and soccer.  Also I am pretty sure I noticed the screens on and running various sports even when the bar was closed... but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

  16. They will have a photographer take photos in locations you pick around the ship but there was a charge for the service. Sorry but I'm not sure how much and can't find a price in my daily planners. If I find it I'll post it here.

Also there were one guy we noticed that did not take photos just in front of a backdrop. He took photos of us outside on the promenade deck, inside near a railing w/ no back drop and one time on the promenade stairs but he ran upstairs to get photos from above. He was fun! Saw him a couple other times taking photos in front of some of the art pieces and once on the stairs in the casino. Always the same guy so maybe that was his thing?

  17. Thanks! I am pretty sure the fine print on the package said it was someone in your cabin had to be in each photo you picked out (we had two cabins and both couples bought the package so we never asked/had to clarify that). So as long as someone in the cabin that bought the package is in each photo you won't have any issues. I have a feeling though that they didn't really care if you picked 10 no matter who was in each but not sure if I would bank on that. With that many people I'd probably not risk having to pay a higher price on board and get one for each cabin. They take some great photos and with just 4 of us it took forever to pick out just 20 photos. Might be really tough to just pick 10 with 5 people going! :)

We ordered it online before the cruise and they had our order written down at the photo desk. Just gave them our name and cabin number when picking up our photos.
