Which ever of us is getting the drinks , takes both cards
The bar tenders were happy to give us 2 drinks each , if for example we both wanted a glass of wine and a bottle of water
-
We had the classic beverage package as a perk , and it worked like a dream
A nice coffee from the bar at breakfast , a coffee at elevenses
A sparkling water ( I’m happy to drink club soda , not Perrier ) when I’m thirsty
Corona with lunch on deck
Frozen cocktail when sunbathing in the afternoon on a sea day
A glass of Sauvi B getting ready for dinner
Glass or 2 of wine with dinner
Glass of wine in the theatre
Espresso and cognac in the sunset bar as a night cap

We’re planning on takI got this cruise , leaving 30th April
As we’re UK based , we will just dress as if at home !
Taking T shirts , jeans , shorts some jumpers / cardigans and a rain coat
Expecting some sunshine , some drizzle and some spectacular views

The new deal make my already booked cruise £1000.more expensive !
Glad we booked early 😀

In the past we asked several times to have a table for two on traditional dining and ended up with tables for 8, 6 & 4. We now use either Blu when in Aqua or Select dining. Surely it isn't possible to accommodate all the requests for tables for two in traditional dining ?
We’ve only done 2 cruises , the first time we had a table for 4 ( we had our teenagers with us )
Last time , we booked a table for 2 , and that’s what we had 😀
However, we are U.K. based and cruised from Southampton, and we booked early !

We booked a table for 2 on early dining seating
We could still talk to our neighbours
Our waitress advised us of what was good each night
Offered to get us 2 of certain things , would let us order all over the menu
You don’t have to march in at 6-15 on the dot , people were still coming in at 6-45 with no problems

We live in Wales, and satnavs do not recognise rural post codes
Love Tenby , it’s so beautiful there

We just crossed the Bay of Biscay.
Following hurricane Ophelia
That was a bit rough , ( British understatement )

We did a Med cruise on eclipse with our teens ( younger though , 13 and 16 ) and they had a whale of a time ( as did we , hardly saw them )
This was from Southampton, in August a few years ago

We cruised the Spanish Med for my 50th in august 2010
Had the 2 teenagers with us , and we had a lovely time
Yes it's hot and sunny , but like Presto above , we're from the UK , usually desperate for some hot sunshine !

Hi Jo and Rob
We did the Spanish Mediterranean last year on the Eclipse and loved it !
We want to do a cruise next year ( our son who will be 17 will only come on holiday with us if we cruise ! )
Eclipse though is going to Iceland , and we want some sunshine , the itinerary I fancy is Mediterranean adventurer on Grand Princess.
I notice you have done a Princess cruise , when you have a moment to spare could you tell me how Princess compare to Celebrity.
Thanks, :) Emma

We were on Eclipse ,around the Spanish Med. We had a premium alcohol, a classic (alcohol) and a soda package . I dont know whether or not Celebrity beat us or we beat them it just made everything so easy ,thats with the adult package, soda I would say dont bother unless you are a soda addict as soft drinks ,apple juice, lemonade (more like lemon squash if you are from the uk) and water are available from self serve machines in Oceanview nearly all the time.
Each day we would have freshly squeezed orange juice, probably 2 coffees from Cafe al Bacio (my favourite place on board) frozen strawberry drink and probably 4 glasses of wine ( 1 while changing 2 with dinner and 1 more watching the show) then there were the bottles of mineral water ,maybe a beer at lunchtime a cognac on the balcony and a cocktail here and there.
That makes me sound a bit of a lush , but we were on holiday and the best part was not having to worry abot the bill . We had no problem getting served anywhere at any time :)

With the beverage package you get nice coffee in Cafe al Bacio
There’s also a bar with a coffee machine in the Oceanview buffet
Bring the Gold Blend. And a decent mug , they have funny little undrinkable glass mugs on the hospitality tray
