Jeff ~ what time did you arrive? It says we arrive @12n in Roatan, depart 7p. I would like to book with Bodden and do iguanas but not sure what beach to snorkel from. We would like to see as much as we can in the water just not sure which place is best or how much time to allow. Do they plan all of that out for you? First cruise so any help is appreciated :)

We are planning to book with Victor. We want to see the iguanas and then snorkel and possibly see birds/wildlife?? Where is best beach/area to snorkel? I have seen the pics of West Bay & of course it all looks gorgeous. Or should we just ask them to take us wherever...although we prefer to have some kind of plan.

We have stayed on the aft many many times.

'aft' means what? Sorry learning this cruise lingo slowly but surely!

The best deck IS the Empress deck because you will be away from public areas.

Living off right off the Gulf of Mexico in Texas...I do know this for sure! We are still cleaning up from IKE around here!! I won this cruise so we will say prayers that all is smooth sailing but if it ends up being a 'no go' then that is ok too!

HI All! Taking my first cruise on the Valor in Sept. Actually won the cruise for both of us along with several other consultants so hubby and I are excited!

Looking at the layout of the Valor it seems the Upper Deck rooms may be a good choice since the Empress Deck is above it so there shouldn't be any major noises like what you would hear if under the promenade deck??

Just trying to have some idea of rooms to request when we can. I am sticking with an inside room since I know we will be excited to just roam the ship and be outside. Will take the advice here and try and get one that is surrounded by other rooms and not near the back of the ship due to the anchor.

Anything else I should be looking for?
