In January it was still a bar and smoking, but that may no longer be true since they have been changing them into arcades.

We did this in 2019 and I believe we had around 31 people. It was a great tour!

I don't know of any forward facing viewing areas on the royal class ships, aside from the Sanctuary.
-
Don't know about the Regal in August but last November on the Sky out of Southampton the Retreat pool was heated, not sure about the other pools.

Many times TA's request payment a week or two before Princess's actual final payment date, you may have to call the TA to make payment.

You can choose to go out and about in Ft. Lauderdale like a port day but must take your passport and in transit card (that they give you) with you. You can not reboard the ship until boarding of new passengers starts and you also have to wait in line for security with everyone else. They should give you a letter with all the information and usually have a meeting to answer any questions.

If you buy for the entire voyage it’s $24.99 (12.50 for elite) per day. If your just buying one day at a time here and there it’s $30 (15.00 for elite).

Does that work on all Princess ships. We have tried it on Discovery, Emails, and Grand without too much luck. Maybe we're doing something wrong. We have had it work on some Carnival ships, but not all.
I can't say I've tried it on every ship but I would think so. It seems you have to turn the volume up quite a bit and it sort of has a delay from what you hear in the hallway. Honestly I usually find it quicker and easier to just go open the door to the hallway,

I would like to see a volume button in the cabins to hear the announcements over the PA
Tune the TV to the Bridge cam and you can hear the announcements.

Currently on the Crown and no complaints on the mattresses

And you can still get envelopes from guest services if you want them.

It seems they are all heading in that direction, you can ask about a certain ship but that can change cruise by cruise.

The Crown no longer has one and they don’t have to be in dry dock for the change to happen. They just did the Crown on the February 22nd sailing. I don’t think they had matches available but I think they sell lighters at the casino bar.

If you are trying to book the same time each night, you might try booking each night individually and then keep checking back for the nights that are unavailable.

They all serve the same food. Have you tried using the web version to reserve dining times? I have had better luck with it.

I agree you should go to the spa and check it out before buying. Also on two ships (Emerald and Ruby)that I know of they have taken out the free sauna/steam rooms but they still show on the deck plans. Hope that is not a continuing trend.

I know there are a ton of pages to scroll through and my question might be listed. We are on Regal Princess British Isles May 15th of this year. WE have been ineligible to bid an upgrade until now and NO ONE at either Princess or my travel agent is willing to just tell me why we are not elilgible. Very frustrating
Sometimes the bids don’t open right after final payment. We had a similar situation and the bids didn’t open until about 60 days out if I remember correctly. Keep checking!

We did this trip in 2022 and loved it even though we had some missed ports due to Covid restrictions at the time. There are lots of sea days, which we enjoyed but that different for everyone.
Princess does have packages available that include tips, WiFi and drinks. If you don’t want a package you can prepay tips on the website or they are address to your account daily onboard. You can view the packages on the website and they can be pre-purchased or purchased the first day or two of the cruise.

We're 82 days out and we booked with a UK cruise agent, all the payments have been made as far as I'm aware is there any way to check?
It may be they just haven't opened the bidding yet, I had one cruise that didn't open until about 60 days prior. You would probably have to call your booking agent and ask them if they participate.

When is your cruise? Bidding generallly opens 5 days after the final payment due date. Who did you book with? Some TA's and big box stores don't participate in the bidding program.
-
If you go into your cruise personalizer on the Princess site, under your booking on the Summary page at the bottom is a link to upgrade bidding. You will need to enter your last name and booking number, it will bring up available categories to bid on or tell you if your not eligible to bid for some reason.

Final Folio
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Yes we also just got the folio from a cruise ending March 25, no discrepancies on ours either.
