  1. If your phone allows it you can connect to the WiFi and then set up a WiFi hotspot so others can connect to the WiFi via your phone. This works with Google phones and possibly some other android based phones.

That is no longer true on US sailings. I do not believe they have made that change on European sailings, which is why you aren't seeing it on the World Europa.

As to the OP's question: back in April, before the $5 charge for additional entrees, I was able to ask for a "surf & surf" in place of my "surf & turf" and received two lobster tails and no fillet. I am not sure if that would still be ab option now that they are restricting extra entrees.

Not according the the new menu fine print. Where did you see that?

There is no such fine print on the World Europa currently. QR_A_MD_DINNER_DAY5_EN_1694799249.pdfMy teenage son has ordered multiple main courses every night and no additional charges. Some more MDR menu examples attached.

  4. We were on Iona last week. We found that they stopped checks at the start of the show and even if a show was fully booked there were always quite a number of no-shows and you could successfully enter and get a seat a minute or so after the official start time without a booking.

How is your cruise going? I’ve not sailed the Jewel, how do you like her?

Hi yes very nice, not one of the largest ships but so far a very nice cruise with excellent weather - 19celsius or 66 farenheit and sunny all day today in Tromso North of the Arctic circle

  6. Kids clubs depends on age but generally slots morning, afternoon and evening. For example the teens club is staffed 10am - noon, 3pm - 5pm and 10pm - midnight, but the facility is always open. Aquapark times seem to change, but yesterday was open for 5 one hour slots from around 10am - 4pm with 15  minute breaks between. Max 75 each session so long queues if the weather is nice. Himalayan Bridge was open for about 2 hours in the morning and 2 in the afternoon (at least it was yesterday but times seem to constantly change).

  7. We boarded at Southampton on Saturday 24th July. Boarding times were irrelevant, we arrived at noon, our official time was 1:40 but by then the queue was already massive, and just got longer and longer. We finally stepped on board around 3:30pm. Apparently ship sailed with about 2,700 pax. Staff were looking for yc members who could jump the queue. The check seemed a little chaotic, they only gave our insurance docs a cursory glance, and didn’t check the results for the COVID tests the kids had take the previous day - not sure if that’s a new policy (as we were all tested at the port) or they just forgot. On board the buffet is back to self service, with very long queues for breakfast yesterday morning as they only had 2 stations serving the cooked breakfast. Also pool area very busy and long queues for the water park which only has a capacity of 75.

  8. Currently on Aurora. Bought the 'works' wifi package - costs £20 per day if you buy it for the whole cruise - you are charged for the number of remaining days at the point you purchase. We are in a group and have 3 cabins spread across the ship. wifi coverage is very good in all cabins, and everywhere we have been so far across the ship. Speed is ok - can stream youtube videos but only at a fairly low resolution. Better than I expected for a satellite based system.
