  1. We are sailing Royal Caribbean and returning to the Port of Miami. We need to get to FLL airport for a late afternoon flight. There are 4 adults with luggage. Can we call an UBER XL from the port or do we need to make those arrangements before we sail? Does anyone know the approximate cost? Would a taxi be about the same price? What are other options that won't break the bank?

    Thank you for the help.

  2. We enjoyed the cruise very much, looking forward to our next one. I must agree that the staff is one of the friendliest on the seas. The age of the passangers was a bit older, but that is to be expected on that length of cruise. All the passangers where friendly as well. The ship being older and is going in for updates soon, but I found it to be in better shape than what I expected, from all the reviews I had read. All in all, a wonderful experience. If you have any questions, feel free.

  3. We have only ever done 7 days cruises, so we where not sure about a 12 day. The first couple of days where cool, but we had brought our dominios with us and played in the Solarium. One thing I must comment about. At the Park Cafe everyone has raved about the Beef of Weck sandwiches. Being from western New York, the home of Beef of Weck. You people really need to try the real thing! The beef was way to raw and fatty. On the original sandwich the beef is super thin, almost shaved, and layed on thick. Not just one slice of beef folded over. That being said, the rest of the food there was wonderful. Even the potato chips (when you could find them).

The ports of call where all wonderful. We had been to most of them, but it was our first time in St. Lucia and Antugia. Both of which we hope to see again.

  4. We had anytime dinning but like to eat at the same time with the same wait staff. When we boarded, we went to the dining room, talked to Peter and he told us to show up at 7:00 and he would get us the best table and waiter. He did Not disapoint. We sat at table 567 with our waiter Jesusely (Jess) and his assistant Nelcia (Nelly). What a perfect combination. This is probably the first cruise we have gone on, that I picked something off of the regular menu everynight. I usually will have to go to the "available everyday" menu, but not this time. My DW raved about the cold soups and I admit, I had escargo 4 times. Every night we all had the pumpkin rolls. On lobster night, Jess started each of us with two lobsters. He later brought thre more for the table. Of all the lobster we have had on cruises, these where the biggest and tastiest. We can' say enough about the food!

  5. Hello

This was our second trip on the Grandeur, the first being many years ago out of New Orleans. Our first time sailing out of Baltimore. As everyone says, an easy port to sail from.

We arrived a day early, went to dinner to experience real Maryland Crabcakes and was not dissapointed. My DW and I flew in from Buffalo and met her sister and husband who flew north from Little Rock, to sail south.

We had guarantee ocean view cabins, 2508 and 2510 at the very front of the ship. The only "problem" was when we docked the sound of the winches made quiet a bit of noise. But we knew that going in. So it didn't bother us. We had zero noise other than that. Hardly ever saw our room steward. One comment though. Knowing how small a cruise ship cabin is, I found it very strange that in the bathroom, we had a little cupboard that held 4 rolls of toilet paper. On the shelf under the sink, was 6 more!

Mid week, our roll was getting low, maybe a 1/4 roll left. She replaced it with a new one!

  6. Not sure if you have gone yet or not, but we just went on this excursion last week (Oct 2015) and it was wonderful. My DW was sort of scared, but once she got there and saw what it was, she loved it.

The trip up the hill is an adventure in itself. Yes, it is bumpy, but I felt safe all the way. The crew that took use was kind of "crazy" but they made you feel comfortable at all times. I think that the longest of the four lines is like 1300 feet long. The view is amazing. I wished that we could have gone back up and do it again!

It was our first experience in doing zip line, I am 60 years old and not in real good shape, but loved it and had no issues. I can't wait for our next chance.

  7. We took this tour on our Oct 2015 cruise. What a wonderful experience we had. Their was 6 of us and two other couples. We where provided excellent service on this tour. Stopped many times and was provided water. The views where outstanding, and saftely was thier # 1 concern.

I hope that everyone enjoy this as much as we did.

  8. We (party of 6) are scheduled to sail the Adventure of the Seas in Oct 2015. We feel that we got decent price on three balcony cabins. My concern is the reviews I have been reading. Not just on AOS but on RCI in general. We sailed on the Granduar a few years back and had a wonderful time. But I am reading things about bland food, poor service and the rising prices of things, especially drinks.

I know that food is very subjective, but should I be concerned?

    Thank you for your input.
