The email said $100 OBC and 25% off your next 2-8 day cruise

Its leaving from Baltimore and returning to Baltimore, so BC is okay.

I was on the Freedom for a Thanksgiving cruise. The water in general was rough for most of the cruise. ON Thanksgiving Day, Grand Cayman closed the port, so we too missed the port.

Freedom anyone???
Toiletries bags on the Freedom, last week

While we did not get married, we renewed our vows on for our 10th anniversary on the Fantasy with a wedding in the Library while the ship was underway (first Sea Day). So, you can get married while not in port if all of the wedding party and guests will be sailing with you. Just an option to consider (well this was 5 year ago, so that rule may have changed)!
With Carnival, you can RENEW your vows at sea, but you can't get married at sea. The wedding has to be while the ship is docked.

Your pictures are beautiful! Love the Pride! Can't wait for it come back to Baltimore!

If you have a good CD, you may not notice all they do. I've only had one really bad (as in, I'd change cruises if I found he was CD) in 14 cruises! Top of my list for CD's is Josh! Jaime, Jorge and Tex follow closely!

Welcome home! Glad the little things worked out! As long as your happy with the wedding and reception, that's all that matters! Best wishes!

Awesome pictures! Looks like everyone had a great time! Thanks for sharing!

You can bring unopened bags onboard or give each quest an individual size bag of pretzels or chips. You can't make your own bags in baggies to hand out. One is factory sealed, the other is not.

With many of the venues, the tables and some seats are attached to the floor. Conquest Class (Conquest, Glory, Freedom, Liberty, & Valor) generally use a conference room. Spirit Class (Spirit, Pride, Miracle, & Legend) have the chapels that accommodate up to 25.

We were driving to Boston last summer and received a call to upgrade from a 1A to a balcony since we were Platinum. DD also was upgraded, so we had 2 balcony rooms for the cost of 2 1A's!

My 24 yr old DD, has taken a prom gown with her since we started cruising when she was 17! My older DD usually just wears a cocktail dress.

If non-sailing guests put their "visitor" tags in their pockets/purses, they can go through the buffet with no problem.
Don't worry about the non-responders, the port won't have their names and they'll find out why you're supposed to RSVP to a cruise wedding.
My DD was married on the Pride last year. Everything was wonderful! Enjoy!

I actually just came to the wedding/honeymoon board for the first time in months. A couple of weeks ago one of the ladies from here sent me an email asking where I was and the other day another member posted to me to come check you guys out because it's been a while lol. I do appreciate the continued support even almost 2 years after my own wedding. That's so sweet. :)
A number of the weddings in the last 6 months were in the beginning stages of being planned as you were at the end of planning and getting married. My daughter, Carnival_Brides was married in January, but we started planning 2 years ago, just before your wedding! You were so open and helpful, which is why the girls/guys are calling you back!!

Congrats Didi!! You're a very happy bride!!

The only said part is it is also my first mother day and I feel that is going to be lost. It did not hit me til tonight.:(
Mother's Day is one day of the year. As with most holidays, it's become commercialized. You can celebrate when you return.

We wanted to contribute since it's been legalized in states that have cruise ports (Mass, NY, MD) and gaining traction in others (CA, NJ) and show that it's an option. When we started planning a legal ceremony in MD wasn't a option and we were going to have to drive to DC or NY for the legal paperwork, per CCL's request. In fact, I think Lipz tried having her wedding with CCL (pre-passage in NY), but they told her no.
It was nice having Lipz review and help to set a framework for how to make our cruise wedding work. So thanks for that, Lipz!
Lipz was amazing at the start of all the planning and sharing the obstacles s they were facing to make their ceremony happen!!

We took Amtrak from DE to Boston last summer. It was a great ride with no problems. A few years ago, we went by Amtrak to Savannah. My understanding is the tracks south of Washington are owned by the freight companies and have priority on the tracks. We were 6 hours late arriving in Savannah. Train delays seem to be the norm when traveling south, as I've heard from numerous friends.

I have no problem with FTTF, it's the 2 Platinum people in front of me, one with 8 family members in 4 cabins on their credit card and the other with 12 family members in 6 cabins on their credit card. Then they state, as soon as we get on board, you can go to customer service and set up your own account! So those behind them are waiting 30-40 minutes to get checked in!

Congratulations!! When we booked my daughter's wedding we had 490 days! Now we're down to 42 days!! Time flies!

You can bring your own. Just like any buffet, use a clean lido cup to fill your cup. It helps prevent norovirus!
