One of us might not be able to cruise. Is is still better for the one to no show instead of cancelling them beforehand? Thanks!

What’s worse is I achieved Platinum on our 4 day this month. I was shocked at the lanyards but thought maybe because it was a 4 day cruise. I didn’t even get the strawberry plate 😩

My sister uses one. I take duct tape to tape the extension cord to the floor so we don’t trip on it.

Valor has the Ol' Fashioned BBQ (it took the place of the fish & chips a couple years ago). Not sure if it's to your liking, but according to the menu, they have a grilled chicken with dry rub.
Sounds good. Thank you

I found out there is not any grilled chicken breast during the day. Only in the dining room at night.

Hi all.
Going on the Valor soon and wondering if I can get a grilled chicken breast somewhere other than the main dining room for lunch or dinner?
Thanks

We were on this cruise and had a good time. We had anytime dining and had Sandra and Aleksandra our first night and went a second night and requested them, they were great in serving. Sorry your service wasn’t so good.

When cruising out of Long Beach in the spring, I always thought it was chilly the first and last day. Take a sweater and some long pants. I always had a gal here and there comment they were cold, they thought it would be hot and only brought shorts.

We have sooo many casinos in San Diego County that I've never even thought of going to one in PV.
Very interesting that the USA govt. employees cannot play there. Not unusual for casinos to have ties to illegal enterprises.
We like to visit different casinos, such as in the Bahamas. Mexico is a little more sketchy to me so that's the reason for this post. I think we'll be skipping the casinos in Mexico.

I find it interesting that the US Department of State specifically prohibits US Employees from patronizing Adult Clubs and Casinos in Jalisco (this is Puerto Vallarta's State). This prohibition (for US Government Employees) exists in quite a few Mexican States....but not all. One can draw their own conclusions as to why.

Thank you for this. I didn't know they were prohibited from visiting.

I’m glad to be reading current posts. It only took me 5 days to figure out why the posts were staying the same. 🙃

Thank you for the information

Hi all,
does anyone know if we can access Candy Crush, Wizard of Oz slots, etc on the social wifi plan? Be able to collect credits? Connect with Facebook on the games?
My mom loves her Ipad, wondering if the social plan would work for her.
Thank you!

Curious if they are fun, are they safe? Can they pay out in US Dollars? We play slots

In Roatan we did Little French Key which is great. Also have rented the private cabana through Carnival which was great also. The free beach at Mahogany Bay looks awful, packed with chairs and people. The private cabanas are next to this but few people in the cabana area.
Cozumel bar hop. Book on their website, fun for both drinkers and non drinkers.
The Salsas and salsas excursion with Carnival is fun.

Get adjoining cabins, have rules, check in times with you. Your daughter will have so much fun with a friend.

Call Carnival and see if he has another account. This happened to my mom, they somehow found her cruises that were not showing in her cruise history.

I am assuming you will be onboard for Christmas and New Years for the Dec. 15th sailing? If so, do it no matter which line. We did this in 2009 on the Golden Princess, my favorite cruise so far. There were Hawaiian activities, Christmas activities, it was really a super neat cruise. But my favorite line is Carnival, I like the decor of the ships and doesn’t seem as stuffy.

I have used the laundry on everything but formal wear or a delicate top. They come back pretty wrinkled but I haven't had anything ruined. I write cold water on the bag, not sure if they read it. It's worth it. You get your clothes back the next day so it's not fast.

We walk around the marina to Solomon's restaurant. The food is good and right behind there is LoLo Spa, good 50 minute massage for $25
Better to no show?
