We were on the same cruise, cabin 1015, and I thought the MDR food was excellent, except for one dry chicken breast. Never bothered with Pizza Pirate, seemed like there were always long lines. I actually thought the American Table selections were much better than on the last couple of cruises we went on since the switch. I guess when it comes to food, it really is a matter of taste - different people enjoy different things.

Lucky you! We sailed on the Breeze in November -- you booked our cabin!
There was no noise problem, and the location is terrific for spa access. The stairs & elevator are a few feet away, perfect for slipping up to the thermal suite in a bathing suit and robe.

You guys are hurting my heart. The thalassotherapy pool (we call it the velociraptor pool) and hot stone loungers are incredible, the thermal suites are decadently luxurious, and the Elemis hair and skin care products are glorious. Plus, you get cushy slippers and comfy robes.
So worth it. So much more than just a hot tub and a steam room.

Ooh, Tandoor on embarkation day would be terrific. I'll be there a week from today!

Belize and Roatan, absolutely. The trip to Lamanai in Belize is probably the most enjoyable travel experience I've ever had on land, and snorkeling in Roatan at Maya Key or West End is amazing. It's what I think of when I need to get to my mental happy place.

kona, if you are intrigued with the logistics of housing, feeding, entertaining and cleaning up after 4000 some odd people, and curious about how a ship gets from one port to another, the tour is fascinating. I went on one the first time I cruised over 20 years ago, and we saw some things you won't see these days, like the engine room, but even with the security restrictions, it's still amazing. Went on the tour the last time I was on the Dream and I loved it.

We went to the ruins at Lamanai in Belize and it's one of the best things I've ever experienced in my life: belizecruiseexcursions.com/lamanai_belize.htm
But snorkeling in Roatan is even better. If you're uncomfortable with walking away from the port to get a taxi, book an excursions to Maya Key (formerly Fins and Flippers): mayakeyroatan.com/en/index.html
Large Luggage Carry On
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I don't know why you prefer to carry on a large bag, but you may want to check a big bag during embarkation, then use self assist for debarkation so you don't have to look for your bag in customs.
