I don't really worry about it too much. I do pack travel size shampoo, deoderant, etc. We are usually gone for 2 weeks or more. I want the things that I want. I am already spending thousands on airfare and a cruise, what's 50 bucks for a suitcase going to matter in the long run? :p We usually take three 30" checked bags, each weighing about 40 pounds.
