  1. Can someone please help me out here. Can you just pay the $37.80 on the Atlantis website for Sea Squirts or do you also have to get a day pass as well. I did the online chat with Atlantis and at first she said yes you have to have a day pass but then she said no you don't. We only want for our daughter to do Sea Squirts and then we will head back to the boat. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. Yes 8:30 is the time that you will meet up right outside the cruise ship. There will be people standing there with signs and you will go to the person holding the Dolphin Swim (or whatever you are doing) sign. They will then wait a couple of minutes for everyone to show. They will then shuttle you to where you need to go.

  3. Hi guys. Has anyone used Cozumel Mexico Tours (dot) com and have any reviews of them? It almost sounds too good to be true. We are going to Playa Mia and they have the all day beach pass, open buffet and open bar for $ 50.99 a person and the actual Playa Mia website has the same option for $60. A $10 savings per person. It says that you print the tickets and hand them to the person at the door. We would get our own taxi there.

Any insight on this company would be great.

Side note- we are 100% going to Playa Mia for our children.

  4. So I am taking our 3yo daughter on a cruise in November. My daughter only takes tub baths at home. She does not do showers very well at all. She doesn't like the water hitting her in the face or head area. We have a blow up duck that we have never used (it was given to us as a baby shower gift). Should we bring the blow up duck or just buy the Johnson and Johnson Head to Toe Washcloths and just wipe her down daily?

We will be on the Carnival Fantasy if that helps with size of the shower for the duck.

    Any advice or tips welcomed.

Also a note to add...I am perfectly fine with not washing her hair for 5 days. I can scrub it really good before we leave and really good once we get home.

  5. I am trying to determine if it would be cheaper to book through the cruise line (110% price guarantee) but I can't find the excursion on their site. Most of the excursions don't name the places in the title. Does anyone know if Carnival offers one to Playa Mia and if so what is it called. Thanks!

  6. Got a question....I am trying to fill out the online check in and it is asking about on board expenses. If I choose the cash account but want to change it before we sail to a credit card will it allow me to do that?

Someone who is sailing with us wants to use a pre paid card but doesn't have the card yet because they will purchase it right before we leave. Will they allow me to do that?

  7. Well then I would try and find someone to take their place, or cancel them if the rate allows it. I guess they will need to decide which way makes the most sense money wise. If it's ES, then the deposit penalty may be too much. Either way, the solo will end up paying for 2 but only 1 port fees/taxes/gratuities.

He did do an ES and at this point I am honestly thinking that it would probably just be best to have a no show. Who knows...he might find someone between now and then. Thanks for responding.

  8. Notification all depends on if you are before or after final payment and what cancellation fees you may be facing. That's something you will have to determine based on your circumstances.

It is unlikely the booked cabin will be forcibly changed due to changing from 2 to 1 (unless it is a triple or a quad and even if it is would be rare).

He is paid in full for 2 people and paid gratuities for 2 people.

  9. So my family and I booked a cruise for Nov and we have a family friend that wants to go. He booked his room for 2 people however now it looks like he will be going on his own. Does he have to call Carnival ahead of time and tell them that its just him going? Our fear is that if we tell them they will move him out of his room to another room and we don't want that as we have booked rooms right beside each other.

  10. I have researched this with no answer. We are sailing on the Fantasy in Nov. We have 4 in a room. My son is 15 and daughter is 3. We will put my son on the pull down bed that comes out of the wall but my question is where is the bed located in the room? Is it at the head or foot of the king bed? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

We are in an oceanview room on Upper level.

  11. I always book ES and I have gotten credits all the way up to $80. I have two cruises booked for this year and I check the pricing everyday to see if there is a drop. I always pretend like I am booking a new cruise and check the pricing that way. I am hoping to get credits on the two cruises that I have booked now. We will just have to wait and see.

  12. Wow!! Now I kinda feel like I am getting jipped. We booked a room at the Holiday Inn for the night before our cruise and they have a park a cruise rate of $139.00. That seems like a lot if you can pay $48 a the lot to park for $6 days. Does anyone else know of a nice/cheaper hotel at Jacksonville to park and cruise??

  13. This may be the stupidest question but what is a Rum Runner?

We brought alcohol on our first cruise by pouring rum in our sprite bottles and it went through just fine. The only thing was it was too much of a PITA to go back and forth to the room so next time we are just purchasing off of the ship.
