  1. What you bolded pertains to alcohol, like rum etc. Notice the sentence below your bolding that wine MAY be brought onboard.

Our experience at ports when we have brought wine back from port is the same procedure as at embarkation.

That is good. Thank you. We have several stops in Spain so I am sure I will find some wine to bring onboard.

  2. Interesting that you say wording should be irrelevant, but yet you choose to call it a connecting door and not an adjoining door.

    Just sayin'

Not a silly question at all. Final Payment is ALWAYS the final payment DATE. It never refers to the date on which you make the last payment.

You can pay your cruise 100% in full at the time of booking, and you can still cancel up to the final payment date on your invoice without penalty.

I know that different hotel chains refer to rooms that have a door connecting them in different ways. Some call them adjoining and some call them connecting. So it always is a good idea to clarify what you want when making the reservation.

Thank you for the answer about final payment. :)

  3. This may be a silly question, but here goes. Is "final payment" the date that the final payment is due? Or is it the date when you actually make your final payment?

The final payment on my cruise is not due until July, but I have am thinking of making the final payment next month, when I have a little extra money to spare. Is there a reason that I should wait until July to make the final payment?

  4. My agent was able to send me the info she sees for my booking now. All was good except they show us arriving in Lisbon on the 21st and departing from Civitavecchia that same day. Now that would be an interesting port stop. ;) I agree Cruiser Bruiser - can't wait to be able to log into my NCL and just see the correct itinerary again. Hotels are all changed now for me thankfully.

I haven't changed anything yet. I am waiting until I see the changed itinerary on my NCL account.

  5. What was with that totally weird dance done by Allison? I honest to God thought both dancers were naked. I'm a fan of SYTYCD, but this routine was way strange, starting with the bathing suits.

That dance was WEIRD. I didn't like it at all. The look on Tom Bergeron's face when it was over was priceless. I could be reading too much into it, but he looked like he didn't understand it either.

  6. Actually, one issue is that it's NOT versatile because it's a one-piece unit of a skirt connected (sewn) to leggings. Which is why someone above mentioned that an actual skirt over leggings *would* be a more versatile option. So. YMMV.

Yes, I agree that it is not versatile, but I just don't wear skirts or dresses very often so for me I think the attached skirt and leggings would be much more in my comfort zone. I am used to wearing jeans, capris, and my work out yoga pants.

I will have to work my way up toward separate leggings and a skirt. :)

  7. That look is not my style at all (I have flashbacks to wearing it in the 80s, so...:p) Janice of The Vivienne Files has a leggings/skirt combo from Eileen Fisher so you can see how & where she includes it in her wardrobes. She used it as part of her Project 333 and her capsule last year.

Thank you, I looked at the viviennefiles and the leggings/skirt that she has on there looks like the one that I am thinking of buying.

She mentioned that you either love or hate the combo. LOL, it looks like we have an example of a love and a hate here on the board.

  8. I love jeans. I wear jeans almost all of the time and I live in Florida. In the summer I wear capri jeans. There are so many kinds of jeans, different fabrics, weights, and colors. Some are stiff, but most jeans have at least some spandex and they can be very comfortable. Some jeans are made out of very light weight fabric, so they are not hot. And they can be dressed up or down. I do love my jeans. : )

  9. Kate's dress reminded me of scenes in movies or tv where a couple is in bed and the woman gets up wrapped in just a sheet.

Hi, I have been reading this thread for a while, I thought I would jump in and start posting. :)

I think when Kate was telling the judges about her dress she said something like, she wanted it to look like the girl was royalty and that she was awakened at night and she woke up and threw the sheet around her and then off course she put her jewels on.

  10. Just wondering how many sets of gym clothes you bring? We will be on a 7 day cruise and will probably work out/run 5 times. The last time we were at a hotel, I tried washing my gym clothes in the sink and hanging them up, but it seemed like it took a LONG time for them to dry.

Any tips on which tops and sports bras dry out the quickest?

    Thank you.
