So if a family had 2 parents ( in the Haven cabin) and 3 kids in the adjoining stateroom, they wouldn't ALL get to do things Haven related? How silly is that? There must be some way that NCL makes allowences or charges for this. Has anyone done this?

My family would like to book the Haven with adjoining stateroom on an upcoming cruise on the Encore. I know that the ships layout for cabins is similar to the Bliss and Joy. My question is do the people staying in the stateroom share in the Haven perks like priority boarding, disembarking, excursions, restaurant, bar and pool use in the Haven etc? It would only make sense to me that the entire family would be able to do things together not just those 'physically staying' in the Haven?

Does anyone know if Christian and Erwin/Arwin are still working at the Sugarcane Mojito bar on the Escape? They are awesome and I am just wondering if they are still on that ship or have they moved to another.

I'd definitely go with an NCL post cruise tour. We did the Everglades airboat and it was great. Picked us up at the port and dropped us at the airport with no worries about lugging suitcases around. Your flight must be after 3Pm and the drop off is around 1-1:30 giving you lots of time to enjoy the tour and enough time to grab lunch once at the airport. Worked great for us a couple of times.
Enjoy :D
We did this Everglades tour a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it! I highly recommend it. We were dropped off at the airport, ate lunch and had a couple of hours to 'de-cruise' before flying home.

Just got off the Escape on saturday. We ate at Bayamos and loved it. We were told that the top chefs from NCL were on board and redoing the menu here to be all seafood. We saw several top chefs walking around the restaurant and asking about the meals.

We were just at Mystic Mountain last week. We did the bobsled and ziplining. We had a great time. The guides we had were so fun. They had everyone in the group laughing. The lines are all somewhat different. The first one is quite fast. And the last one is fairly long with gorgeous views you can enjoy. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Were you able to bring a camera? When we zipped in St Lucia the guides asked why we didn't bring our cameras because they would have taken pics of us on the zips.

This happened to us too~ flying to Puerto Rico (day of cruise) from Madison WI via Chicago. Our first flight out of Madison was late in departing due to the crew getting in late the night before ( 2 inches of snow). We got to Chicago just in time to see our plane taxi out to the tarmac. Ended up flying into Charlotte, spending the night on the airport floor then catching a flight to Aruba to meet up with the ship. It was quite an adventure as our luggage went to Puerto Rico, then back to Miami and eventually to Aruba. The good thing was that we got to Aruba ahead of the ship and that RCCL was aware of our situation and waiting for us to board.
Never again have we flown without insurance or the day of the cruise.

We just got off of the Escape yesterday. When we were in Nassau our ship was right next to a Carnival ship. As we were slowly getting to the dock, a wild and crazy naked woman on the Carnival was in here cabin putting on a full nude show for all to see.

I was on same cruise, the family and I had a blast. I'm experiencing the post cruise haze! My liver hurts and I can't get the "washy-washy" song out of my head.
Ditto...just got off that same cruise! FANTASTIC time

I just bid on Priceline for a pre cruise hotel room in San Juan for March 5, 2011 and successfully won the Intercontinental Resort and Spa for $120! Bidding on Priceline it the way to go and saved us $200! Thanks everyone for all the tips and we are looking forward to a cruise on the Adventure of the Seas!

Has anyone done the Hop on Hop off Bus or the water tour of the city post cruise excursions in Fort Lauderdale? We will be getting off the Independence of the Seas and will have 7-8 hours to kill before heading to the airport. These 2 excursions seem to take the most time. Any thoughts or advice appreciated!
