  1. This a review written live on the Oasis.

Thank you for a great review and the wonderful pictures. When I got on the Oasis, I felt I knew it already. Your review was a great help and I followed lots of your advice so far. I'm looking forward to your NCL Escape review as I hope to sail on that in the near future as I have a NCL credit to use up.

I must note I was so worried what my balcony neighbours wiuld be like after your horror story. Thankfully no issues. I agree with your conclusions overall (so far). I enjoy Central Park very much and walk it every night.

The Promenade is very much hustle and bustle with lots of sales, contests so it gets quite congested.

What I miss most versus the NCL ships is the thermal suite. I almost choked when I saw four thermal beds facing some doors on the Oasis, not worth 149 per week.

    Windjammer food not very appealing.

    Otherwise Oasis is amazing

  2. Hello, I've read older threads in the forum about car rentals at Port Everglades and just wanted an update or suggestion. Getting off Oasis on April 30 with a late flight home (9:00 p.m.) from FLL. My daughter and I want to go to Sawgrass. Read that the shuttle lines can be long for rental cars at the Pier.

Should I pick up a car at the airport location instead, would that be easier to travel to Sawgrass? Or wait patiently for a shuttle to the offices at the pier.

I get a company discount for Avis or Budget so will probably use them.

    Thanks everyone.

  3. Have an aft mini suite booked on the Gem. We have stayed in a mini suite on the Star and loved it.

However just read that the gem aft mini suite has no curtain between sitting area and bed and bed is next to balcony. Some noise and dirt from the garden cafe.

If I switch to a mid ship mini suite would it have a curtain Bren bed and sitting area?

I'm on the holiday cruise with 3 sea days going south. When are we likely to get warmer weather? Day 2 or 3? Thanks
