  1. Worth every penny. We were there Thursday. Initially worried about the rainy start to the day but ended up being perfect. Bermuda College had graduation, so we didn't take the advice on the left trail through campus, but hill wasn't as bad as I remembered. We took bus from dockyard but to return, bus to Hamilton and ferry back. suggest that's faster.

Which bus did you take from Hamilton to Coco Reef? How long was the ride?

    We leave next Sunday!

  2. Leaving on RCCL LOS next week out of Stockholm. Wondering if formal nights are much dressier in Europe than the US. I know there will be a range of dress but what is most appropriate for women, cocktail length dresses or gowns? Also, do any women wear formal pants/tops?

    Thanks for the help!

  3. Leaving next week on the Legend of the Seas for 7 day cruise of the Baltic out of Stockholm. Wondering if anyone has done this itinerary recently as I have a few questions.

    1. Does the ship have a Russian Dance Troupe perform while in port overnight in St. Petersburg.?

    2. Can't remember how RCCL works shows. Do you need to make a reservation to attend the shows on board?

    3. Does anyone have any Cruise Compasses from this itinerary?

    Thanks for the help!

  4. I have sailed many times in the US but since this is the first foreign cruise I am wondering what to expect as far as any major differences onboard the ship. We will be on RCCL Legend of the Seas in July. Since this is a US ship I am assuming that all staff will speak in English and that American food will be served. Am I correct? Also will there be a need for any electrical converters to operate hair dryers, etc? Are the staff tipped in AMerican currency or Euros? Please help! The cruise is fast approaching. Many thanks!

  5. This is the first time we have ever flown to a port. I am wondering what is the best way to get to the port of Miami from the airport. I see Carnival has transfers one can purchase but they seem pricey for a family. I am thinking of taking a taxi instead for our family of four. Is there a benefit I am not aware of for using Carnival's ground transfer option?

  6. We will be sailing on the Carnival Ecstasy in April. Our ship doesn't dock until 1:30pm. I want to know if anyone has purchased the sunset package at Nachi Cocum before. Are the costs still the same? How empty does the place get once the other tourists leave? I don't want our family to be the only ones left in the evening. That would seem strange.

  7. We're sailing on the 20th July! I've contacted SPB Tours several times and they've been really good to reply. Just booked our 2 day tour.

cflower we are on the same cruise. This is a graduation present for our daughter. Does your tour group need to grow in size. We will be looking to go through a private tour company also. Open to options. Can't wait.

  8. Thanks for this New Thread.

We were planning to park at the pier' date=' but 2 wks ago there WAS a problem with paint spraying onto park cars, resulting in damage. (read about this in the MEMBER REVIEWs). We have found an off site parking lot with RT shuttle service to the Explorer. Not going to take any chances.

Now, we are wondering about BED BUGS - anybody hear anything recent?

Saw a TV segment, this morning, and it got us to thinking about BED BUGS when it was stated that NY has the highest %.

WHERE do the DIAMONDS typically meet?[/quote']

I am also concerned about the painting issue. Where did you find to park if you don't me asking. We leave in two days. Thanks!!
